look up her dress. He tried to make small talk all the way to the apartments but Angela just answered his questions with either a nodded her head or said yes politely.

“When the cab reached the apartments she paid him 15 pesetas then got out and headed for the penthouse.’ Which were set away from the rest of the apartment buildings owned by Sid McCullough?’

“He came to greet her and gave her a kiss on the lips. Angela Minty didn’t reciprocate.

“Are you still mad at me?’

“Yes, you were a total prick.’

“No other woman had ever called him that before and he respected her more for saying it.’

“I know.’ I can be thoughtless at times but I will make it up to you I promise.’

“Would you like to come back with me to England and live with me?’

“What! Are you looking for a house keeper now; forget it.’

“No; as my wife, look I know we’ve only known each other for a short while but I’m crazy about you.’

“That took the wind out of Angela’s sails; she wasn’t expecting that.’

“I mean if the age thing bothers you then its okay we can forget it.’ I mean I am twelve years older than you and I’d understand if you said no.’

“I’m shocked Sid; me married?’

“If you need more time to think it over that’s fine too, just say that you’ll think about it.’

“What would I tell my parents?’

Tell them you’ve met a handsome, debonair man. Who’s filthy rich and that he’s asked you to marry him.’

“Angela laughed but we’re not even engaged yet?’

“I can fix that I will take you out tomorrow like I promised and buy you the biggest rock that you ever saw.’

“I don’t want a big diamond ring Sid; I just want you.’

She went to him kissed him his arms went around hers. He had her up against the wall of the apartment he fondled her breasts as she undid his trousers then he hiked up her short black dress and to his shock she wasn’t wearing any knickers. This excited him even more and he thrust himself into her. They were locked together making love wildly and passionately in the coolness of the moonlight.

Over the next two days Sid spoilt Angela. He bought her new clothes to wear for the trip back with him to England. She wore the diamond ring that Dennis had acquired from the same place as the necklace and earrings. Angela never knew that they were fake. She was so overwhelmed by his generosity. He promised to buy her a mini cooper once they her home so she could drive around on her own. Angela had never been happier. They spent the last day out sightseeing and in the evening they made love under the stars.

The next morning they were on the plane holding hands as it took off for Newcastle Airport.’

The five hour flight went smoothly and when they landed Sid asked Angela to fetch the cases whilst he phoned Albert Nicholson to tell him that he was back and needed his services. Angela looked stunning in her short mini skirt that showed off her long legs she was so tanned. Two airport porters almost broke their necks to come over and help her out with the cases.’ They placed them on a trolley and even wheeled them outside for her.
