Helen Lattimer had enjoyed herself that much at James flat the day before; she decided to go again. This time she would make the excuse and buy some sausage and some pork chops for her husband. She still cooked for him even though he stayed out until the early hours.’

He was now sleeping in the spare room after she forbidden him from coming to her bed smelling of whiskey and with lust in his eyes.’

Thomas had been seeking pleasures down in Pink Lane where local prostitutes frequented. They were open to any kind of persuasion and Thomas had tried them all.

He discovered that he had caught Syphilis from one of the girls and the doctors couldn’t cure it. They told him not to have unprotected sex with his wife as it could spread the disease. I didn’t bother Thomas because he wasn’t having sex with his wife anyway.

Helen wore her hair with a slight fringe but the rest was brushed back behind her ears to revel the nape of her neck. She took extra time with her make up and applied some soft pink lipstick. She wore some light tan coloured stockings and a white suspender belt over some French silk knickers. Her breasts were so firm she didn’t need to where a bra. it was un heard of going without a bra in her mother’s day; but this was the swinging sixties. She wore a white rounded necked dress that showed off her long slender legs. They were accentuated by a pair of black four inch high heels. Around her neck was a string of pearls and one large one set in gold in each ear. Helen carried a clutch bag with her with enough money to go on another shopping spree. That was not her intention though, she had only one thing on her mind as she got into the car and drove to the butcher shop. She drove past the shop and looked in and there was James hard at work.

He was carving a rack of lamb that he had an order for as she opened the door and went inside. He was scraping the meat off the bone at the top to make them more presentable.’

“Hello again Helen, did you forget something yesterday?’

“Yes,’ I needed some pork sausages and a couple of nice pork chops James.’

Jim went to the back and brought her out some of his best sausages and weighted 2lbs of it then wrapped it up and then placed four large pork chops into some paper and then placed them both into a plastic bag.

“How much do I owe you?’

“Nothing he replied.’

“You cannot keep giving me things for free James you will go out of business.’

I hardly think a few links of sausage and a few pork chops are going to put me out of business Helen.’

“Well you must let me pay you somehow.’

“How about,’ she thought for a moment before saying; “I could treat you to lunch somewhere nice.’

“That would be nice actually as I close half day today. “ You would have to come in though and wait until I wash and change; is that okay?’

“Yes, that’s fine.’
