“It’s Sunday, you slept through friday and saturday,” said a voice I instantly recognized to be my Mom’s.

Ok not the next morning.

“I was just super tired,” I said.

“Oh I know, going to bed so early in the morning was not good for you,” said Mom.

“I know,” I said.

“This came in the mail,” said Mom handing me a letter.  It had been opened once befor.

If you want to see me you're welcome to come to public health room C 10.  I would appreciate it, also I understand why you ran.  I would have done the same thing if I thought you were, well, dead.

It was as if Kimball had read my mind and dang she had good penmanship.  “Can we go?” I asked.

“Why do you think we read it first?” asked my Dad coming in the room.

“Let’s go,” I said jumping up.
