3. ~Chapter 3~

I was walking to the training room with Crimson and Spinner following behind. Once we reached our destination we explored the room. On our right was a huge glass window. If you look through you can see the training area. There were some obstacles already set up there and a robot in the center.

The rest of the students that were in this class entered along with the teacher. He came in with a smile plastered on his face. His name was Mr. Rogers. He had blond slicked back hair and light gray eyes. He was also wearing the type of outfit coaches would wear in the color of a light blue along with a black baseball cap.

"I heard this guy was blind. How can he be a teacher if he's blind?" Crimson whispered at me. That's probably why he had gray eyes.

Mr. Rogers clapped his hands and everyone looked at him. "Listen up everyone! We're going to see what level you all are by placing you in a battle with that robot." He pointed to the robot on the training grounds. "It's simple," He said smiling.

"How are you going to tell how good we are if we're blind?" Crimson said bluntly. I elbowed his stomach. "Ow."

A young woman with brown eyes and blond hair came him. She was wearing ripped jeans, a light gray hoodie, brown boots, and had her hair in a ponytail. "That's why I'm here."

Mr. Rogers nodded. "My assistant will help me determine what level you're at with your abilities. When I call your name you'll enter that door," He pointed at the door next to the window, "And try to defeat that robot. So far no one has been able to beat it on their first try."

He called the first name on the list and the person entered the room. Spinner, Crimson, and I leaned against the wall. The rest of the students were either talking to each other or on their phones. Spinner and Crimson started talking, while I observed the bots attacks and movements.

It was fast and agile. The bot would use the obstacles as it's advantages. It seemed liked it knew the area as if it was the back of its robotic hand. Most of the people would jump straight into battle without a plan. Others would scream and run away because they didn't know what to do. Then there were a few who actually used their powers and were good at fighting.

When it was my new friend's turn, Crimson scooted closer to me. "Whatcha doing?" I ignored him and tried to see what Spinner was doing. He started shooting at the robot, but it wasn't effective.

"Hey, I asked you a question." Crimson poked my arm. I looked at him and rolled my eyes, but he couldn't see that. "I'm just watching."

He nodded and watched Spinner with me. The bot tackled him and he was done. Crimson stood up and cracked his knuckles, "My turn."

In he went and out Spinner went. He was rubbing his neck and groaned. "That was hard and a little painful." I chuckled at his response, which caused him to smile.

Surprisingly Crimson was actually good at fighting. He seemed inexperienced and I thought he'd be running and screaming. Turns out I was wrong. He was pretty close to defeating the bot, but he got cocky. Once he

Crimson came out with his hands around his stomach. "Your turn," He said in pain.

I sighed and entered the room. The door locked behind me. I was a bit terrified. Not because of the bot, oh no. I was terrified of being embarrassed in front of everyone watching me.

I walked towards the center of the area. The robot was nowhere in sight. I did hear its footsteps, though. Too bad, I didn't have the ability of flight. If I did, then I could get a visual of the whole place.

The footsteps had gotten faster and closer. I decide not to run since it would follow me anyways. I spotted it on my left side and turned around. It stopped moving and the two of us had a mini stare down.

Suddenly it ran toward me, but I stood my ground. I smiled and waited until is was and inch away. That's when I teleported behind it. It stopped and turned around. This time my fist was making it's way to the bot's metallic face.

The robot knew what I was doing and immediately caught it. I removed my hand from it's and teleported behind it so I could kick it's back. The bot stumbled back and regained its balance.

Eventually, I cornered it and felt a boost of confidence. It raised its arm but I grabbed it and twisted it off. I stood there in shock, not knowing if I was actually that strong or it was that easy to take off the bot's limbs

Anyways while I got distracted it punched my face with its other hand, kneed my stomach, and then put it's foot on my back when I was down.

Well, at least I lasted longer than other people.
