9. People like you

Sirius' p.o.v.:

When I woke up, it was nearly noon already. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I saw Remus when I walked into the Common Room. "You're up early." I mumbled; yawning. "Nah, just 5 minutes before you." Then, James and Peter walked in as well. "Let's have breakfast." James mumbled. "Lunch, actually." corrected Remus. "Whatever you say, Moony. Whatever you say." Everyone was in the Great Hall; except the Gryffindors. Well, there were one or two but that's all. "Guess everyone is as tired as we are." remarqued Peter. Professor McGonagall walked towards us. "Mister Black, mister Potter, mister Moony and mister Wormtail. I assume either of you has any idea where all the other Gryffindors are?" "I don't know, maybe vanished. Maybe still in their bed. Probably the first one." I smirked at professor McGonagall. "Do you happen to know why they're still in their bed, mister Black?" Remus pulled me back. "Professor, there might have been a party in the Common Room last night. But it's weekend, so forgive me if I can't see the problem here." Professor McGonagall just sighed and left. "Well done, Moony." I said as I pat his shoulder. Apparently, Lily was one of the few Gryffindors at the table because she walked towards us. "That took you long enough." She told James and kissed him. "Good morning." James smiled at Lily. We sat down at the table and started our lunch. "You're not hungry?" I asked Lily with my mout full of food, because she wasn't eating. Lily and Remus shook their head in disgust but I ignored it. "I ate already." "How long are you up, then?" James asked; he was clever enough to be sure his mouth was empty when he asked it. "About an hour, I guess. And thank you for the party, Sirius. It was fun!" "How did you know it was my party?" I asked; slightly shocked. "Oh, come on! You throw the best parties. Every Gryffindor knows that." I have to admit, I was flattered. "Thanks, darling." I said; James coughed. "Don't worry mate, she's all yours." I smiled and layed my arm around his shoulder.

Lucius Malfoy passed us and raised his eyebrow, looking quite disdainful. "Malfoy, you don't dare to say anything without your so-called friends?" James spatted at him. "Oh, it's not that. I just wouldn't dare to waste my time on people like you." "People like me? That is the best insult you can think of, Malfoy?" Lily shook James' arm. "Stop it, James. He's not worth it!" Now, Lucius' face was filled with disgust. "How dare you talk about me like that, you mudblood?" "Expelliarmus!" James yelled; disarming Lucius. Lucius was rather quick and picked up his wand again. "Stupefy!" He fired the spell at James. Well, that was what it looked like. But it was a feint. He hit Remus instead. "That's enough!" Professor Dumbledore yelled. I almost forgot we were still in the Great Hall. "Mister Potter and mister Malfoy, I expect the both of you in my office. Immediately. Could someone bring mister Lupin to the Hospital Wing?" With that, he left the Great Hall. James and Lucius followed him.
