Without a person to understand you in the fullest of your deepest desires and thinking, only the right person must come to show her that she's wrong. Jake Acker takes in this shifter as his own personal property. Will he get her to open up and see him for himself, or will she only bite him and hide away until her own guilt leads her back to him for more.

3. Chapter Three

Day after day he came to pester me, waving his hand in at me or inching his finger towards him, telling me to come closer until today, he got me. He held up a toy, a mouse to be exact, dangling it around with a smile as he watched me. Darn it! I-I love mouses... I couldn't help but crouch low to dart over but he soon stood and disappeared after walking away. Wait! What?! I-I wanted th- and with out my thought finishing, the small door usually only used for my bowls, was pushed open enough to slip in the mouse.

Mouse! I dashed over quickly but soon stopped to observe it, sniffing the air. It had a nice scent to it, like the man. Pine and watermelon this time though. Why is it always pine? Tackling the mouse I bit and scratched at it, batting it around my small room only to hear a chuckle behind me, coming from him. What is he chuckling about. He stood once more, dusting his black pants that looked a bit too expensive to be here. Where are you going?

Grabbing the mouse I ran over and jumped onto my play stand, climbing high into the air but stopped about his height. He smiled and waved, placing a hand to the glass before officially walking out, leaving me with the mouse. Why did he leave? I thought we were having fun...

Without him there to irritate me with his constant smile and observing my every move, I batted the mouse off the ledge and watched it fall, tempted to give chase but only plunked myself own and fell asleep after a yawn
