The Girl in Cell 3 (Triple Witching Hour)

Every day SABLE talks to her knight in shining armor, EREN. She says sweet words, tugging at his heart, hoping to steal it. But there is always a barrier between them - a prison cell door. EREN has struck a deal: keep her locked up and his little brother will be out of harms way.

Her cell is inescapable and her placement on death row rises fast. She aims to seduce him and have him break her out. But when truths and lies become one, can she deceive his heart without breaking her own?

57. Chapter 56 - Zofia

Zofia was in a good mood while the other witches were in distress. The news had spread quickly; a knight had come down and taken Svenja out from cell one.

There was a fearful, nervous buzz in the prison. No witch had concrete information, but speculation quickly took on the form of reality.

Why had they taken Svenja out? Who knows. But any witch who was ever taken out of her cell never came back. The witches knew that no one here would be set free — this just left one possibility. Death. Or worse.

“What do you think happened to her?” Sable asked.

Zofia looked at her with a blank look on her face, then remembered that she had to play her part.

“It is dreadful!” Zofia exclaimed. “I don’t think I ever met Svenja...but she was a witch, yes? If they have taken her away, then maybe it means that she has been set free?”

Sable shook her head. “I don’t think that is possible. Why would they set us free?”

Zofia stood and walked to the cell door. She put her forehead against the cell bars and closed her eyes. She listened to the fearful whispers, the cries of despair, the crackling uncertainty in the air. With her back to Sable, she allowed herself to grin. Foolish witches. She chuckled with contempt. Witches were such high and mighty creatures during the height of their power when the Eisen Kingdom and King’s Pride were still one, but look at them now —

Now they were reduced to this. With simple gransia handcuffs, they were reduced to beheaded hens, running wild with fear.

Without their magic, witches were nothing.

Zofia was in a good mood. Everything was going well. Svenja had been removed from the prison. She was sure that Reinhard would use his creativity to cook up an agonizing ending for her. And now —

“Zofia?” Sable touched her shoulder.

She changed her expression and turned to Sable.

Yes, this witch was the last piece of the puzzle. The big chunk of magic she would need to complete the Champion of Light. How fortunate that the capturing of various witches caused the exact piece of magic to fall into her lap.

The Word of Light.

“What is it?” Sable asked, tilting her head slightly.

Zofia found it hard to believe that this girl harbored the forbidden demonic magic in her — and that two other pieces were still out there.

Yes, she thought, I must find the other two pieces quickly.

“I...I just feel so endlessly sad. One of our fellow witches is gone.” Zofia burst into tears and fell into Sable’s arms. She felt Sable put her arms around her trembling shoulders. Zofia breathed in the soft scent of her breasts. Yes, she thought. This girl would make a splendid meal for the Champion of Light. And this time, he would be satisfied.

Zofia dried her tears. “We should go to sleep,” she said. “We must rest and prepare for tomorrow. We must be prepared for whatever may come.”

Sable agreed earnestly and they both went to sleep.

Later that night, when every witch had fallen asleep, Zofia moved to the cell door and passed a message to one of the guards who knew her.

It said: “Tell Commander Reinhard that tomorrow the Champion of Light shall receive his final meal.”
