When Fate Forbids

Lory doesn't know what to do when she finds herself falling head over heels to someone who she is forbidden to love. What will happen when fate forbids her satisfaction?

3. When Fate Forbids III

It had been two weeks since we last saw Kyle. She already left and went back to her country. Red and I still didn’t live together but we hanged out. We would sometimes grab a drink with just the two of us and we would watch movies here and there.

Red never left my side whenever we were together. If it was in my opinion, I thought that he was being clingy…but I couldn’t blame him, we were separated for eight years. Maybe he yearned for his twin sister.

But I yearned for something more…which was a bad idea.

I didn’t see Red as my twin brother nor did I see him as someone who shared the same blood as me.

I saw him as a guy.

Red asked from beside me, “Is something the matter?”

We were currently watching a movie here in the cinema. We hanged out a lot. For the past two weeks, we saw each other for six times already. Being with him made everything so unreal. It was like a dream and I didn’t want to wake up from it.

“No,” I shook my head. “I was just thinking of something,”

“What is it?”

“It’s nothing,” I smiled at him. “Nothing you should concern yourself about,”

“Don’t tell me it’s about a guy?” even with the lights turned off, I could see that his expression was quite grim. “Did someone cheat on you?”

“Relax,” I chuckled. “I’m not really into guys anymore,”

“You’re now lesbian?”

“Nah,” I lightly smacked his shoulder. “I just don’t want to have a boyfriend right now, you know? They’re just a pain the ass,”

He patted my head like I was a child, “Good girl,”

“Stop it,” I slapped his hand away. “I’m not a girl anymore, you know?”

What was up with him?

Did he somehow find it offensive when I playfully slapped his hand away?

“You’re right,” he sighed. “You’re not a girl anymore,”

“Aw…” I pouted. “Don’t be so sad,”

“It’s hard for me to see you as a girl anymore,” What did he just say? I grew quite nervous of what I just heard. Was he feeling the same way? “Just kidding,” he chuckled at my reaction.

Oh, God.

Maybe I was the only one who was feeling this way.
