~Tear- Drop~

"The outside source managed to gain more information on the angel Mixed Bloods. In total there are five of them, each of them joined at the same time and are usually together. According to the gang member the outsource has captured, he claims that not even the gang leader herself could defeat one of them. If they do plan on destroying our city it will be one hell of a fight to stop them." Hammer said.

My blood ran cold as I heard this. If one of the angel Mixed Blood's is so strong that the Angel's leader cannot defeat it, taking on five of them plus the regular members would be next to impossible. "Well shit." Beanie cursed. "What are we going to do?" He asked Hammer.

I looked at Hammer waiting for an answer. "The outsource is going to send four of their best to help us now until we can track down the angel Mixed Bloods, once we capture one of them or at least kill them we will attack the Angel's and make sure their plan does not work." Hammer explained.

My jaw clenched, the thought of teaming up with others irritated me but it was necessary and would help lessen any damage we would take alone. "Do they even have a lead to start looking for them?" I asked.

"The captive that the outsource has claims that they go somewhere once a month. It is an old building that was caught on fire fifteen years ago and it is at the far end of town. Every night two people will keep watch on the building and we will also build a surveillance system around the building and the area around it. Until we find a pattern in their visits and can assume when the angel Mixed Bloods will show up, we won't attack."

"And if we end up forced to attack against the angel Mixed Bloods or their gang and they catch on to us? We would die easily and if the outsource does not comply or help us. Hell, we are as good as dead now." Beanie spoke up.

"We will trust the back up coming and if we are found out we will go into hiding until it is safe again. The people coming in will be here in two weeks time." That plan seemed very dangerous and flawed, no one had an idea to what the angel Mixed Blood's powers were and fighting blind was sure to kill us just like Beanie said. "Once the back up come, there is no backing out of this plan so you better be at your best. Do you understand?"

I nodded. That was obvious, my life was riding on that line. Yet...

A thick wet cough came loudly from the bedroom. Using my inhuman speed I rushed into the bedroom and forced the kid to face downwards. Much more blood fell to the floor this time making that flowery smell fill the room. Due to the sudden movements and weak state the boy was in caused the wounds to reopen and bleed. As I hit his back to help him get the blood out of his lungs and the coughing to ease up Beanie and Hammer rushed in. "I told you it would get worse." Hammer warned, reaching for the Angels Blood.

"Don't! He can't get better instantly, this was expected. Wait until we know for sure." I demanded and continued helping the kid to clear his airway. It let up a little and to my surprise he touched my hand.

"Mikale... I love you... please... please..." His voice was hard to hear. What was he dreaming of? Who was this Mikale? "I'm sorry..." Forcing myself to look at him I was greeted by lifeless eyes. Tears stained his pale face and drew pink lines down his neck as it mingled with the blood that was smeared around his mouth.

For no reason my heart squeezed. He must have been through serious shit, his body was beaten, scarred, and so weak. On top of that something must have shattered his heart and soul to make him this sad and guilty while being feverish. As soon as he started talking he stopped and fell back into a fitful nightmare. The need to protect him only grew within me.

Taking my gaze off of his pained face I stood up and walked out of the room to gather cleaning supplies and a wet towel for his forehead. "Tear." Hammer put his hand on my shoulder, stopping me. "Remember what I just said. I'm going to have Beanie stay here tonight and I am going back to the office building with Glasses to start preparing for the back up."

Nodding I shook him off and went into the bathroom. The two left as I cleaned and tended to the ill boy. The sun was just coming up when I started feeling tired. All night the boy was coughing blood, his temperature has raised considerably high and I could tell that he was starting to get worse. Beanie kept telling me to give him the Angels Blood but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Beanie handed me coffee and I took it, taking a big mouthful. "If you're that tired I will watch over him while you sleep. Hammer will come by later with medicine, but if pretty boy gets anymore worse then the regular medicine won't work." He offered.

"Wake me up if something bad happens or when Hammer gets here. I'm trusting you to not go behind my back and give him the Angels Blood." I took him up on the offer, stretching on the couch. Putting my legs across his lap I closed my eyes and allowed sleep to come to me.

When I opened them again I was staring down at the kids face. His wet, curly hair was plastered against his skin with mud coating him. He stared up at me in wonder as the sun shined down on his body. "Tear..." His voice was soft and calm.

His hand touched mine, taking my by surprise. Looking at him he looked stronger, more healthy. No longer was he skin and bones and for some reason it caused me to feel so much better. "Tear..." He said again.

Smiling I looked into his eyes and held his hand. "You are okay. You're not sick anymore." I spoke the thought, not embarrassed from saying it. "That's perfect. I was worried that you'd die on me. You were in a really bad state." I continued.

Smiling he sat up from the ground. "Tear." His forehead touched mine. "Tear." Something was off about his voice. "Tear." It was getting deeper, more rough. "Tear!" He screamed.

Jolting up I opened my eyes, confused I looked at Beanie who had a worried looking on his face. "Get the fuck up Tear and hurry!"
