~Tear Drop~

A week passed by in a silent blur, nothing really happened concerning any gang or any tension within our own group. It was as if everything was on a stand still. It should have been relaxing and should have put everyone at ease, but for most of us it raised the hairs on the back of our necks. It was times like this when anything could happen at any given time, whether we were prepared or not. The not part of it was something that could easily cause major damage and something I wanted to fix as soon as possible.

Since I told Three- Twenty about Giggles he had been more focused on me, trying to make sure I was okay and every night he would whisper that he loved me. It was great but I also had a feeling that he was running away from something, trying to deny whatever it was. In fact, Three- Twenty was changing. He started to focus on his strength, he even asked Obi to help train him instead of I or Beanie, and he started to learn more quickly.

When he wasn't training he was with Glasses helping out with information or he would be helping out with a serum. He didn't have a lot of free time to himself besides nights that he spent with me, if he did have free time he would be reading books related to Mix Blood's. The history, what was known for powers, the lineage of some supernaturals, anything he could get his hands on.

On the outside it looked like he was okay, as if he was finally serious about everything. But I knew that deep down he was becoming a mess, he was trying avoid something that he was scared of. When I asked him about it he said that it was nothing and it wouldn't happen, promised me that he was okay and just needed time to cope with everything. It scared me since he reminded me of when Giggles started to change as well, but I knew that I was overreacting since no one else seemed worried about it.

The thought of Three- Twenty becoming like Giggles sent chills down my spine and made my stomach churn. I didn't want that to happen to anyone, I didn't want Three- Twenty to be in so much pain and torment that it would lead him to his death. Still wrapped up in these thoughts I barely noticed when Beanie was poking my shoulder to get my attention. When I came out of my thoughts I heard Beanie repeatedly say my name without taking a breath.

 "Beanie." I responded.

"Thank the donkey. I thought you were sleep walking or something. What's up?" He asked with worry. Donkey? I raised an eyebrow at him and slightly shook my head at his diction.

Beanie was always strange but I am sure that that was his coping method. To bring laughter into a serious situation when needed, to make sure that others were okay. Now that I think about it, everyone has their own coping methods and is hiding their darkness somewhere. Giggles and Three- Twenty wasn't alone to be like how they are or were in dealing with this.

Shaking my head I let my nerves calm down a little. "No. But what did you need?" I asked him. "Or were you just bored and wanted to constantly poke my shoulder and say my name repeatedly until you got hit or something?" I smiled a little bit and he took a slight backward step.

"Glasses got the video camera data from that place five hours out of town, along with a new feed that tapes now. Also the people who went there found some interesting documents, Hammer is looking over them now. But did you want to help Glasses and me go through the old tapes?" Beanie asked. I nodded and we both went to wherever Glasses decided to hole up now.

He constantly switched rooms so he wouldn't become so bored of where he was staying at to get through any work that would take hours long. Last time he had to watch old tapes and read documents he stayed in the kitchen. He had set up the computers and monitors and what nots all over the place, he also made really delicious food and treats when he got bored. The time before that he stayed in the library with a make shift fort and bed. It was like he was a child sometimes.

Now he was holed up in his dorm that he was currently living in. It was dark with the windows blacked out, computers lit up the place to some degree. Extra chairs that had blankets thrown over them and a small foot rest near it was scattered around the small room. Snacks and drinks were stacked on his dresser and he sat on his bed watching what I could only assume was an old video tape on a laptop.

When we entered he paused the video and looked up. "Hey Tear. You joining us?" He asked.

"Yeah. What are we looking for?" I asked and took up a chair that was set up to watch tapes.

"Right now I am looking at the past few months to see what the angel Mix Bloods look like and what they do when they go there. Beanie got a few years ago but now that you are here you can look at the oldest videos. Try to see what is going on and what would cause this place to be somewhere those things go to." He ordered.

Making myself comfortable I started the older videos. When I looked through what I had a small pit in my stomach started to feel wierd. Some tapes were reccorded in daily vlogs from the people who worked there full time, some were called experiments, some were titled with random numbers, and some were just regular video tapes that watched hallways or rooms. A part of me knew that this wasn't right, that I would find something terrible.

Yet I knew I had to watch to help find out what is going on. "Before you start I have extra pajamas or slacks if you want, Tear. You will be staying here for a while so it's best to get comfortable now." Glasses spoke.

After changing and telling Three- Twenty that I was helping Glasses with old video tapes I finally took my spot once more. Clicking on the vlogs I started the first video and put in my headphones to listen to what they would say without bothering others.

Minutes passed into hours, I was drawn into what was going on and horror piled up into my stomach as I slowly got the idea of what was happening. What was going on at the place out of town and why the angels would go there. What was worse was that I knew a certain person who could not learn of these tapes and vlogs, who would certainly break down if watched.
