Don't think i'm weird but, lately I have been researching sleep paralysis.
This is also very CRINGY

1. The Man

Sleep Paralysis

I am unable to move.

I don’t have any problems within my body, in fact, I am as healthy as your next door neighbor.

Though right now my mind is like a raging tornado, with no end to the amount of thoughts. Is this all just a dream? Am I going to die? Am I in someone else's basement? Suddenly, I see a shadow going across the lawn and onto my front porch. “Bang”, the sound of glass being shattered echoed across the house.

I found myself flummoxed, wondering if I could do anything, to prevent the human from finding me. The man with a hood started going up the stairs. “Thump, thump”, he walks around the floor nonchalantly trying to find me, thinking he will eventually.

Finally, he stops at my door. The door creaking ever so silently, while I hold my breath. He enters the room, a bat in his hands, with an aura of evil that surrounds him. I feel like my heart could jump out of my chest right now. The man grasps the sheets and pulls it right off of me. “NO”, I yell as I try to claw out of that cramped place and tried hitting the man, but he didn’t bulge a bit. I hopelessly try to fend the guy off, but he puts his grubby hands against my throat. He kept on tightening his grip, never pausing once to release it. My vision started to get a bit blurry, and I could feel my body get more numb, by the minute. I grasp out, “Who are you? What do you want with me?”

The man smiling the whole time said discreetly, “I am the very embodiment of your mind.”

I ask dumbfounded, “What do you mean?”

He examines my face, and says, “Do you really think you are in a position to talk.” I grunted trying to pull at his hand.

Sadly, even though my timings don’t match, I had an epiphany about what the man had said. What if this was really just a dream? I think... I am done for. Within a few seconds, I felt myself suffocating, while my vision was going hazy. At that moment I realize, this was the end. The moment I felt I was going to die, he shows me his face.

That man in the hood was me.

Then I wake up.

I started gasping for air, like a fish out of water. I eventually get up from the bed and look at the window. I see nothing to resemble, what just happened moments ago. “Maybe, I was truly just dreaming, but that felt to realistic to be.”, I say thinking out loud. I look at my computer and search up, sleep disorders. To my surprise, their was something that caught my eyes. “Sleep Paralysis”. This was, exactly what happened.
