Blurryface |Joshler|

Tyler Joseph. Blurryface. Tyler Joseph. Blurryface. Tyler Joseph. Blurryface. Blurryface. Blurryface. Blurryface.

10. Tyler's Punishment

The bark of the tree scraped against Josh's knee and blood burst from the wound. He barely felt a thing, though. He leaned over the side of the branch and lowered himself down until he was hanging by his fingers. He took one last breath. He let go. The wind ripped through his body and he screamed, not because he was scared of his most certain death, but because, god, it felt good. Just as he was about to hit the hard earth, the flash of colors and blurs stopped and he fell onto something much softer than earth-or rather, into something. He looked up to see that Tyler had caught him, Tyler, the boy he was trying to get away from. He squeezed his eyes shut, bracing himself for the lecture he knew he was about to receive. Instead, he felt lips against his own.

"Josh. Josh! Josh!"

Josh's eyes snapped open and he found himself staring up into none other than Tyler's face. He pondered for a moment that maybe it wasn't a dream, but it was because he was lying in his bunk, and certainly not Tyler's arms.

"Good morning," Tyler said numbly, turning away and tossing a bag of chips at him as he sat up.

"Breakfast," He muttered.

"I don't remember going to bed."

"That's because you passed out after getting totally drunk last night. I tucked you in."

"Why don't I have a hangover?"

"Beats me."

Josh opened the bag with a creak and Tyler winced.

"Tyler? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," He snapped, his shoulders visibly tensing through his white T-shirt.

"Are you sure?" Josh began, "Because if it's about last nigh-"

"I said I'm fine!"

Tyler turned to see Josh sitting there with wide eyes.

"I'm sorry. I just..." He glanced out the window, watching his reflection in the barely rising sun.

"You just what?"

Døn't yøu dare.

"I missed you too."

Øh my gød, Tyler, yøu will pay før this.

Tyler watched Josh's face soften, ignoring Blurry's words.

"Tyler I-"

"Josh, we still can't get back together."

"I know it's just that last night it was like you were a totally different person."

Tyler sighed.

"I know. Blurry told me he would make me do things to myself if I told you how I really felt, but I couldn't resist."

"Well, I'm glad you told me," Josh said.

Tyler walked over to the bunk and sat down next to Josh. He felt tears well up in his eyes and he let out a sob.

"Tyler, don't cry!" Josh cried, leaning forward and placing a hand on his arm.

"He's going to punish me," Tyler whispered, looking into Josh's mocha eyes.

Josh bit his lip and wrapped his arms around Tyler, who was shaking violently.

"J-Josh, no homo."

"This isn't homo, this is a friend hug," Josh insisted, squeezing him tight.

Tyler hugged back, resting his chin on Josh's shoulder.

"Whatever happens," He whispered into his ear, "Whatever he makes me do, please know I would never h-hurt you."

"I know, Tyler."

It was only a few hours later that Tyler began to act strangely.

After the concert, he went to Taco-Bell with Josh. Josh ordered, but Tyler declined the waitress, never looking up from his phone.

"Tyler? Aren't you hungry?"

He looked up suddenly, his pupils growing smaller as he did so, as if he'd just been deep in thought.

"He doesn't want me to eat," He mumbled.

Josh frowned.

"You can't let him boss you around like this, Ty."

"You think I want him too?" Tyler snapped, eyes glossy with the start of tears.

On the way home, he started to talk to himself.

"Shut up."

"Please, no."

"God, I won't."

"I swear, leave me alone."

"I'm s-sorry."

Josh glanced at him nervously.

"Tyler, are you okay?"

Tyler said nothing.

"Road," He finally muttered, and Josh sighed, looking back at the road he was driving on.

When they reached the tour bus, Tyler looked extremely pale.

"Tyler are you okay?" Josh asked for what seemed like the millionth time that day.

"No..." The boy muttered, staggering slightly. Josh caught him and when the boy went limp in his arms he picked him up and carried him over to the sofa.

"Shh, baby boy," He whispered, running a hand through his fluffy, brown hair.

Suddenly Tyler screamed.

"Josh, I need my blades."

Josh's jaw dropped, but he quickly pushed it back up.

"No, Tyler I can't let you do that."

Tyler yelped, clutching his wrists, scratching at them, breaking the skin and letting it tear, letting blood leak from them.

"I need my blades!"

He was sobbing now, sobbing into Josh's T-shirt. Josh couldn't imagine what sort of hell Blurryface was putting him through. He held Tyler close to him, begging him softly to stay calm.

"Don't listen to him, Tyler you're stronger than this."

"Tyler listen to me. You can fight this."

"Tyler, I love you."

"He doesn't matter."

"Don't let him get to you. I love you."

Tyler was gasping, Josh's shirt was completely soaked with tears.

"R-run," He whispered.

Josh pulled away slightly, lifting up Tyler's chin to look into his eyes.

"What do you mean? I'm not going anywhe-"

He pulled back completely when he found Tyler's eyes to be a blazing red.

The boy had the most devious look on his face, he was approaching Josh ever so slowly."

"Tyler isn't here anymore."

Suddenly it struck Josh that it wasn't Tyler sitting in front of him.

It was Blurryface.

Sorry, this is probably really badly written I'm super fricking tired.
