Blurryface |Joshler|

Tyler Joseph. Blurryface. Tyler Joseph. Blurryface. Tyler Joseph. Blurryface. Blurryface. Blurryface. Blurryface.

7. Pain and Darkness

Josh followed Tyler back to the car and Josh began to drive. Neither of them said anything. Tyler watched the rain drip onto the window as they drove. Normally the silence would be killing him, but he was too angry to get anxious.

Finally, they pulled into Josh's house. Still silent, the boys slammed their doors and walked inside. Tyler would totally be at his own place if he had paid the rent that month. He hadn't.

Tyler sat down in the living room and Josh sat down on the couch across from him.

"We should talk."

Tyler glanced up at him.

"What the hell is there to talk about?"

Josh glared.

"You know what the hell there is to talk about."

Before he knew it, tears were rolling down Tyler's cheeks.

"Ty, no, don't cry!" He ran over to sit down next to him, brushing the tears away with his thumb.

Tyler pushed his hand away.

"We can't be like that."

"Yes we can," Josh pleaded, looking up into Tyler's eyes.

Tyler shook his head and a sob escaped him. He loved Josh so, so much, and the very thought of ending things made him just want to cut and cut.

"We d-don't have a choice."

"Yes, we do!"

Tyler leaned into Josh, who wrapped his arms around him and caressed his shoulder until Tyler stopped crying.

"I love you," Josh whispered, his voice cracking on the word love.

Tyler drew in a shaky breath.

"I love you, Josh, but we just can't."

Josh slowly lifted Tyler off his shoulder and tilted his chin up.

"Yes, we can."

He pressed their lips together and they moved in sync, Tyler wrapped a hand around Josh's neck and Josh wrapped his arms around Tyler's waist. He picked him up and pressed him against the wall, kissing him as passionately as he could, trying to convince him not to end things.

"We can't," Tyler finally said, pulling his lips only slightly away from Josh's.

"But you know you want to," He replied, and Tyler felt his stomach flip when he heard those words.

"Yes, I do, I want to so bad, but we can't."

With that, Tyler gave him one last kiss, passionate, alive, intricate.

"Goodbye, Josh," He whispered.

Josh stood there, dumbfounded, as Tyler slipped away from him and out the door. He was still standing there when he heard the car start and pull out of the driveway. He was still standing there two hours later when Tyler came back with a girl.

She was beautiful, giggling and blushing madly as he swept her up into his arms and carried her up the stairs to the guest bedroom, kissing her the whole way. It was almost as if he didn't even know Josh was there.

I'm invisible.

Josh released a mangled sob as they disappeared up the stairs. He moved for the first time in hours and fell onto the ground, bringing his knees up to his chest and burying his head in his hands. His pink hair fell over his face like a veil.

I'm invisible.

Now he knew why Tyler always cut so much.
