1. Introduction

"I can't believe our third year is almost over." Hermione said sadly during breakfast of their last full day at Hogwarts.

"Well, we had our good times, but there were a fair amount of bad times too, weren't there?" Ron asked."I mean, I know now that he's innocent, but the whole Sirius Black thing was pretty creepy."

"Well, yes, I suppose..." Hermione looked up at the ceiling. "Harry, Hedwig's got a package... Why would anyone bother with post now?"

Hedwig landed in front of them, holding a large, heavy package and a letter. Harry ripped open the letter first.

Dear Harry,

You'll find this hard to believe, but I'm you from the future. In the package is seven books. They're about you. A Muggle that discovered our world wrote books about our life and sold them to the Muggle public as fiction. As I'm sending this to you in our third year, only the first three won't be of the future. I probably won't exist after you've read them, as I'm guessing that you'll change what you read. I'm sad to say that many of our friends, family, and loved ones die in your future. Hopefully you can change that.

You need to meet in Dumbledore's office, along with these people:

The Weasley's (All of them!)

Dumbledore

Sirius Black

Remus Lupin

Hermione Granger

Neville Longbottom

Nymphadora Tonks

Alastor Moody

Severus Snape

Draco Malfoy

I hope that these books are of use to you, and that it can help save some lives.

-Harry

Ron and Hermione, of course, had been reading the letter over Harry's shoulders. The trio looked at each other.

"Let's get up to Dumbledore's office, then." Harry said, and he led the way.
