"She's" The One [5SOS + 1D]

9. Time Flies

- Matt's POV -

The concert in Manchester last night was absolutely brilliant! Both bands performed 'Teenage Dirtbag' and the fans went crazy for it. And they also made a pyramid together, which ended up being pretty funny considering Louis fell in the middle row, causing them to all collapse. "Liverpool!" Ashton cheers as we pull into the car park of the arena. Last night went by so quickly, which I think Calum likes, considering it means he'll be seeing Jackson faster. Hopefully it doesn't pass by too quickly, otherwise I'll be leaving. Sounds strange when thinking about how I'm pretending to be the opposite gender, but you get used to it after a while and I'm having so much fun getting to know these guys! "Liverpool is supposed to be brilliant according to Liam. He said he's been here after X Factor, and he was swarmed then. So I'm guessing the show will be very loud and popular." Ashton tells us all as we get off of the bus. "You ready?" I hear Michael whisper to Luke.

"What if she doesn't agree?" Luke whispers back. They're clearly trying to be discreet about their conversation, but I continue to listen anyway. Besides - the 1D bus hasn't arrived yet, so it could easily be about me... "Just ring her!" Michael urges quietly.

"But what if-"

"Luke, I guarantee Mya won't say no!" Michael reassures.

Great, it's about me... "I'm going to call her now and ask." Luke agrees in a hushed voice. Wait, that means he's about to ring me when I'm stood here!

"I just need to get my phone." I quickly say, rushing back onto the bus and leaving them outside. I go to the end of the bus and wait for the inevitable ringtone from my phone. Sure enough, my phone begins ringing, so I take it out of my back pocket and press answer. "Hello?" I greet.

"Hey, Mya! It's Luke." Luke says through the phone. He sounds almost scared...

"Hey, Luke! What's up?" I question. And the truth is, I don't actually know why he's ringing me.

"I was just wondering if you were going to be in London when we go again?" He asks me.

"I will be, yeah." I reply truthfully. Well, partially truthfully.

"Great! I was wondering, only if you wanted too, but uh- well would you like to hang out again in London? We have a day break when we're there, and Calum already has his own plans..." Luke rambles. Damn! I forgot that we agreed to hang out again... Looks like London is the place to do it.

"That sounds great, I'd love to!" I agree, hearing him do a quiet celebration over the line.

"Awesome! Well, I guess I'll see you in London?" I can practically sense the grin he has on his face, and it causes me to smile too.

"Yep, I guess so." I giggle.

"Bye, Mya!" He says cheerily.

"Bye, Luke!" I end the phone call and shove my phone into my back pocket.

"Matt! Have you got your phone yet?" The sound of Ashton calling me causes me to rush back to the front of the bus.

"Uh, yeah! Sorry, I couldn't find it at first!" I apologize, meeting back up with the rest of them outside. The One Direction bus pulls into the car park shortly after, yet I can't help but think about what's going to happen in London...

There's only three days left until we travel back to London. I told Calum about the phone call I had with Luke a couple of days ago, and he spoke to me about what I wanted to do when I saw him. I love having Calum to speak to about this, because I don't think I'd cope very well if I was facing it all on my own. I also helped him decide to what he was going to do with Jackson, and they organized to go to the festival that they had on when we were there. "What if Louis gets mad again?" I panic, pacing back and forth as Calum sits in the changing rooms. Everyone else went to play football.

"He won't get mad, don't worry!" Calum reassures.

"I don't know what I'm actually going to do when I see him though, Cal!" I groan, taking a seat next to him.

"Relax, Mya! You still have a few more days to think about things." I rest my head on Calum's shoulder.

"Thanks for being so supportive..." I whisper appreciatively.

"It's what best friends are for!" He grins cheekily.

"Two days until we're in London." I say to Calum as we walk together to get the rest of the guys bottles of water to drink.

"I'm so excited to see Jackson again! I've actually missed him so much, so it's going to be great to give him a hug and all of that." He grins as I load his arms with the drinks. "I'm so happy you have someone to spend time with like that, you deserve to be happy. You're always there for me, and I''m glad someone is there for you when you need them to be; even though I'm always going to be here for you through everything too!" I tell him, taking a few of the bottles as we make our way back to the rest of the group. "I really appreciate that, Mya. Thank you!" He smiles gratefully. I return the smile as we turn the corner to the main stage, the rest of the boys all sprawled out either on the floor or across each other.

We're travelling to London tomorrow, and I'm not sure what to think about it. Truth be told, I'm really looking forward to seeing Luke as myself again, but I also know that I can't let him get attached to me, otherwise too many risks are going to occur and either one or both of us are going to end up hurt. But the excitement is overriding the worries I have, and so I'm preparing myself to have a good day with him when we meet up properly. Calum's also excited, because it means he'll be back in the same country as his boyfriend after not seeing him for so long. All I can say is; bring on London!
