Smile|A Joshler Fanfiction

Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph both know that they're gay. However, because of their fame, they both pretend to be straight, fearing that they would no longer be accepted. Josh and Tyler aren't only just gay, they're gay for each other, but they don't admit it to the other, so they're both scared to go for it. Especially Josh, who is scared that if he admits his love Tyler will become more depressed, and Josh couldn't stand to see the love of his life like that.

12. So Very Far From Fine

"So, what happened with those guys?" Josh asked when they arrived at his house.

He opened up the door and helped Tyler limp inside.

"They went to high school with me. The girls were Kate and Blare, the boys were David, Alex, Mathew, and Thomas. I don't know how the figured out I'm gay. They called me a fag so I mean, they must have found out somehow..."

Tyler sat down at the kitchen table and Josh lifted his chin up so he could look into his eyes.

"You're not a fag, there's nothing wrong with being gay."

Tyler nodded, tears forming at the corners of his eyes. It took all of Josh's willpower not to kiss him right then and there. Instead, he went to the freezer to get him an ice pack.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Josh asked, suddenly remembering why they had been at the park in the first place.

Tyler drew in a breath.

"I'm getting kicked out of my house. I don't have the money to pay the rent right now."

Josh returned with the ice pack and held it against Tyler's face.

"Ty, I'm so sorry. Is there anything I can do?"

"I don't think so," He replied, "I just don't know what to do and I needed to tell somebody."

"You could stay with me." The words were out of Josh's mouth before he realized he was going to say them.

"Stay at your place?"

"Well, I mean, if you want to," Josh said, trying to make the offer seem less... gay.

A huge grin spread across Tyler's face.

"That would be great," He said.
