Bah! Another Weasley!

Meet Willow Weasley, older than Ron, younger than the twins. She's definitely a Weasley, with her red hair and freckles. But, what if she wasn't sorted into Gryffindor like the rest of her family?

2. Pain

I slammed my trunk shut. It held practically everything I owned. All my books, all my school supplies, and...all my Slytherin robes...

I hated Hogwarts. I hated the people there. I hated the professors.

"A Weasley in Slytherin! How odd! How different!" they'd say.

What didn't make anything better, was that nearly all the Slytherins hated me, and called me a blood traitor, just like my family. Hogwarts was just a reminder that I didn't have any friends. Who needed it?

At least I had Fred and George...

Ginny was on the other side of the room, getting her things ready as well. It was her first year at Hogwarts, and she was very excited. She was probably going to be in Gryffindor just like every single person in my entire family. Just like mum, dad, Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, and Ron. Just like Harry Potter. Just like everyone who's better than me in every way.

In anger, I shoved the trunk off my bed, and watched as it fell with a loud crash. Hot, angry tears welled in my eyes as I picked it up again. Ginny was staring at me, sympathetically. I didn't really acknowledge her. She was the favorite child. She was going to be absolutely praised for getting Sorted into Gryffindor.

I wheeled my trunk all the way down all of the stairs, cursing when I almost tripped. I saw that most of my family was already there. Mum, dad, Percy, Ron, and even Harry was there. Ron, Fred, and George had taken dad's enchanted car and taken Harry from his aunt and uncle's house a few nights ago. I was kind of upset that they didn't invite me. They knew I like doing those sort of things with them.

I impatiently waited for Fred and George to come down. I wanted to talk to them. After all, they are my favorite siblings.

When I heard footsteps barreling down the stairs, and identical laughter and voices yelling out at each other, I knew it was them. They both had their trunks, and they seemed to be arguing about something. I didn't have a clue what, but knowing them, it probably wasn't even that important.

When they got to the bottom, they each flung an arm around my shoulders.

"Hey, guys," I said with a faint smile.

"Hello, Wills," Fred said.

"You look down," George remarked.

"What's wrong?" Fred asked.

"The usual," I muttered.

"Just because you're a Slytherin-" George began.

"-doesn't mean that-"

"-you aren't-"

"-part of the family."

"And you're still our-"

"-favorite sibling." they chorused together.

I laughed, "Thanks."

When it was finally time to go, we took the flying car. When we got to the station, I kept a distance from my family. Maybe this year I could actually make friends. All everyone saw me was either a blood traitor or a bad egg in the family. Why though? Why couldn't people just see me for who I was on the inside, rather than who my family was, or what house I was in?Honestly, I didn't want to be a Weasley anymore. I could easily be someone else, like maybe a Malfoy. Then again, I wouldn't have Fred and George.

We were running late. In a rush, my parents gave all of us a hug, but they didn't really give me as big of a hug as the others. I figured. We dashed onto the train, and ran into a compartment. Fred, George, and I all collapsed onto the seats. They were both on top of me, on purpose. I chuckled, then tried to push them off of me. They both fell off and onto the floor, laughing.

"Serves you right," I joked, sticking out my tongue.

When I noticed that I never actually saw Ron or Harry get onto the train, I frowned.

"What is it, Wills?" George asked.

"I just...never mind," I shrugged.

They probably had gotten on. I just probably wasn't paying much attention. That happened a lot. A long time had passed on the train, and eventually Lee Jordan came in and sat. I didn't pay much attention to their conversations. I was just watching out the window, bored. If anyone asked me, there was no place I'd rather be than at home with the twins. We always plotted things together. We're even beginning to plan out our greatest achievements, Skiving Snackboxes. Those are a secret now, however. When they're properly created, that will be the greatest day of our lives. We also wanted to start a joke shop together, just like Zonko's, but way better.

But for now, we were stuck at Hogwarts. Oh joy.
