“You’d better come in then we haven’t got a lot of time.’ My mother is out at the hairdressers and she will be getting her nails done too I expect.’

“Jan led him by the hand and they went up stairs to her room. Liam undressed her as she undid the buttons of his Ben Sherman then unzipped his trousers after he’d kicked off his loafers they lay together on top of the bed naked. It was warm in the house as the central heating was on and Liam gazed down at her beautiful body. Each sensuous curve he kissed and stroked. His hand cupped her breast and she gasped. Taking the bud he stoked it between his fingers until it became hard to his touch. His tongue sought out hers as they gently made love in the confines of her room. Afterwards they lay back holding onto each others hand. Jan didn’t want to let go but let go she must.

Liam dressed quickly and waited until Jan finished dressing before going down stairs.

He opened the door a crack then turned and kissed her softly then he was gone. He ran all the way back home and she watched him as he disappeared from view.

Liam entered the house and his father had packed all of his clothes for him into his suit case. “Are you ready then son?’ Yes, I’ll just put on my Harrington and fold my coat and put it in the boot if that’s alright.’

“Of course it is Liam said Rob.’

“They walked outside then placed the cases into the boot then got into the back of the car together.’

Ralph had had a radio call from Billy Lort telling him where they were and Ralph responded by telling him that he’d be with them soon.

They drove away then headed up to Newcastle.

Janice Porterfield picked up the telephone and dialled the number her father had given her. She waited until it answered but it was a woman who took the call. Hello this John Porterfield’s suite Amanda speaking how can I help.’

“Is my father there; would you put him on please.’

Amanda Edmondson the tall leggy blonde who john had been seeing for the last six months passed the phone over and placed it on her tanned bare buttocks. He took the receiver then gazed down at the long legs of his lover.

“Hello John Porterfield here.’

Hello daddy came a soft voice.’

Hello princess, what can I do for you; is everything alright?’

Yes daddy it is, mums out at the hairdressers.’ I need to ask you something.’

“Anything sweetheart, just ask.’

“Well, I have changed my mind about going to Sheffield University.’

“But honey we agreed that you would go and study there, what’s changed?’

Nothing I still want to go to university in the summer but not in Sheffield.

“Where then Honey I told you that you could go anywhere with your grades?

“I want to study Aboriginal art in Australia daddy; if you would send me the money to fly out there.’

“I don’t understand sweetheart why Australia?’

“Well I want to travel daddy and I can study the aboriginal culture for my art and fashion designs over there so I thought why not.’ “You will let me go won’t you?’

“I mean there are some friends from college going too daddy so I wouldn’t be on my own.’ There are four girls and we plan to share the cost of digs.’

“Well in that case I don’t see why not; I want you to see a bit of the world anyway. “I will send you the money for the flight over and a bit of spending money.’
