My True Teen-Mom Story

10. January 2nd, 2017

I'm finally back home and unpacked. My Christmas went well but I'm glad to finally be back home. Savannah slept a great deal of the car ride, which made things a lot easier. I need to schedule her a doctors appointment for sometime this week because Savannah has yet to get over her bug and she's now having coughing fits.

I got Savannah a new pack n play for Christmas because her old one was a hand-me-down from my aunt and I wanted her to have a new one. She hasn't gotten to sleep in it yet because we've been out of town, but it'll be handy for when she's napping and I'm cleaning around the house.

Someone from her dad's side of the family got her new car seat covers and a car seat canopy, which I'm excited about. Hopefully it'll keep people from trying to touch her when we're out in public. I swear, some people have no manners. We've been at the grocery store before and someone has come up to us (I didn't know this person at all) and kissed her forehead and then proceeded to baby talk close to her face.

Babies get sick very easily. I didn't even want my family kissing her when she was a newborn, let alone a complete stranger at a grocery store.

Anyway, it's getting pretty late. I have to give Sav another bottle before bed, which means I need to pump while she's content in her swing. I'll talk to you guys later!
