My True Teen-Mom Story

February 15, 2017

The last few days have been pretty hectic, which is why I didn't update. Savannah is still at her dad's because things at my mom's have been crazy and we both agreed that his house is the best place for her right now. My mom felt that it was a good idea to move her boyfriend (that I didn't even know she had) into our house, which means there is a strange man that I've never met around, and all of his stuff. Our house is PACKED with boxes and random stuff that they need to put away. The only room that isn't a complete wreck is our room.

I've only talked to this guy a handful of times, but I don't really think we're going to get along. He smokes (in the freaking house!!) and I don't want Savannah around that. Honestly, moving in with my dad is starting to sound better and better. I wish I could just move out and get my own place, but I don't have the money (nor am I old enough) for that, so I'm stuck  with either one of my parents.

I get that it's not my house, but you'd think my mom would discuss this with me at least a little bit. But no. She told me two days before he was supposed to move in. I hate thinking that my mom and I aren't very close anymore, but it seems like so many things have changed in the last year.

I've seen Savannah every single day since Matthew's had her and he's had most days off work. Thankfully that worked out well.

There's a concert I used to go to every year before I had Savannah coming up soon and I wish I could go, but I don't think I'd feel right leaving her with a sitter just so I could go out and have fun. I've only done it once and I felt guilty the entire time. My cousin already offered to babysit for me (she's got a baby around Savannah's age, just a month older) and they love each other. I know she'd be in good hands with her, but I'm still thinking about it. I also don't have the extra $50 to spend on a ticket, since I'm not working and I have a daughter. My mom offered to buy tickets for a friend and I for my birthday, but I've always gone with Matthew and he wouldn't be able to go this year anyway.

Oh well. I'll have fun with my little bug. I always do.

I hope you all had great Valentine's Days. Matthew made ours pretty special. We agreed on not getting each other presents, but of course he ignored that. He did go pretty cheap since he only got me a bouquet of roses, a box of chocolates, and a box of bath bombs he ordered online (I'm OBSESSED with homemade bath bombs from Etsy) but my favorite part was by far the handwritten note he gave me. We've had several Valentine's Days together, but this one was definitely the best. There's nothing better than spending the day with your love and your little lovebug.

I'll try to update again soon but who knows when it'll be. My life is sorta a mess right now guys *insert the laughy crying faces I cannot use because I am updating from my laptop*
