There's no time

It had been 3 years since Jacob Stone had been reported missing. It came as a shock to those who knew him best, as he was quite happy for the average 13 year old. I'm Daisy Thomas and I'm gonna tell you what actually happened to the him.

Daisy, Daniel and Christopher are mourning at their friend's funeral. But then a sinister figure emerges from the shadows of their small town. After many strange events, Daisy and her friends are soon swept up into a mystery that no one could even begin to imagine. It's not long before they realise that the clock is ticking, and for something's, there's no time...

29. Part 2 - Chapter 29

"Jacob?" That's what it had come across as earlier, but I hadn't been sure. "I don't understand, how did I take him from you?" I was swimming in dangerous waters. But I needed to know what had happened to me, to us. She expected me to know. I didn't. I really didn't. I had no idea what she was talking about.

"You," she pointed the scalpel at me accusingly, "stole my boyfriend from me." I was laughing again.

"What?" How was Jacob her boyfriend? "I didn't steel him?" Then I realised, if Jacob and I had had Rebecca, then we must have been together. I hadn't thought of that before now.

"Then why does she exist?" She was pointing at Rebecca again. "If you and Jacob where never together, then how did you become Daisy Stone? How was she born?" She was still pointing at Rebecca.

She shook her head. "I might have forgiven the person who'd stolen him from me. But my own sister. That's just despicable. There was no way I could do that." Wait, did she just say sister? Trinia continued speaking. "Me and you never got on. When you were born, it was quite obvious that mum and dad liked you more than me. I was 2. They spent more time with you, played with you." She shook her head sadly again.

"Sister?" I managed to stutter. All things that seemed impossible had become possible within the past 24 hours."Oh yes Daisy. When I was 14, it was too much. They had to go, so I got rid of them." I stared at her.

"You, you killed our parents?" Before she answered, Will spoke.

"I don't know why you're surprised. It's not exactly an act beyond her is it?" Why did he say that? I could have worked that out for myself. He'd crossed the line, gone to far, now he was going to have to face the consequences.

Trinia swiped at him. I closed my eyes and heard him have a sharp intake of breath. When I dared open up my eyes, I wished that I hadn't. Blood poured down the side of his face and part of his ear was gone. I screamed. Louder than I had ever done before. I hadn't realised that she'd released our magnets again. I clasped my hands over my mouth. Trinia was pushing us towards the door saying, "I prefer to do my artwork without prying eyes," she opened the door and shoved us out.

"Oh, and remember if any of you decide to run, remember I can find you." As we were pushed out the door, she gripped my wrist and pulled me close. "And if you run, I'll kill all of them via torture." I looked into my sisters eyes. I was scared, terrified. "Looks like all your men have walked out on you," she giggled and slammed the door behind her. I heard the bolt hit the floor. But what I heard a few minutes later was much worse.
