There's no time

It had been 3 years since Jacob Stone had been reported missing. It came as a shock to those who knew him best, as he was quite happy for the average 13 year old. I'm Daisy Thomas and I'm gonna tell you what actually happened to the him.

Daisy, Daniel and Christopher are mourning at their friend's funeral. But then a sinister figure emerges from the shadows of their small town. After many strange events, Daisy and her friends are soon swept up into a mystery that no one could even begin to imagine. It's not long before they realise that the clock is ticking, and for something's, there's no time...

19. Part 2 - Chapter 19

I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't stop myself. I was laughing. Laughing at its impossibility.

"What's so funny?" Trinia asked.

"My daughter? I don't have any kids. I think I'd remember if I did." Trinia looked pityingly at me.

"Well that's the thing." She shook her, the evil grin creeping back. "Hear that becca? Mummy doesn't remember you? I do love family reunions, they make me feel..." She lifted her shoulders and hitched an innocent smile on her face "special,"

I looked over at Rebecca. The tears where coming now. She'd hung her head. They where dripping down her nose and landing on the floor. "Oh, don't cry, it's not mummy's fault." The girl looked up with a burning hatred. It transformed her whole face.

"Of course I know it's not her fault, it's yours!" Her voice was strong determined and accusing. Trinia grinned.

"Don't spoil it, we're going to see if mummy can work out what I've done, she can have bonus points if she works out why."

"You've plucked us from time," she screamed, "you've landed us in times we don't belong to!!!" She was absolutely fuming, "you..." Trinia slapped Rebecca full on in the face. The sound was louder than a clap of thunder. It bounced around the walls leaving complete silence behind it. She shut up and dropped her head down again.

"Well," Trinia said dusting her hands together. "Now as little one has given it away," she glared with her mad eyes at Rebecca. "Tell me what I've done?" It couldn't be true, it wasn't possible. Yet it was. It had to be. The evidence hung before my eyes.

"You've created a time machine." She nodded indicating for me to continue. "You've gone forwards in time and taken my children." Trinia made an X with her arms.

"Ehh ohhh, wrong!" She was clearly enjoying herself. You loose 10 points. Tell me why," her eyes where completely fixed on me. I noticed that she didn't blink.

"Because it's impossible." I said slowly. What had she done? "Jacob's dead."

"Nice of you to join us," she said winking.

"I don't understand," I cried in vain. Trinia cackled. She was leaning against the wall next to Tarrin.

"Fine then, I'll tell you."
