There's no time

It had been 3 years since Jacob Stone had been reported missing. It came as a shock to those who knew him best, as he was quite happy for the average 13 year old. I'm Daisy Thomas and I'm gonna tell you what actually happened to the him.

Daisy, Daniel and Christopher are mourning at their friend's funeral. But then a sinister figure emerges from the shadows of their small town. After many strange events, Daisy and her friends are soon swept up into a mystery that no one could even begin to imagine. It's not long before they realise that the clock is ticking, and for something's, there's no time...

16. Part 2 - Chapter 16

Oooooooooo, part 2 people! Hope you guys like it! I'll update soon (: :3

Trinia or Harry where obviously doing something inside. Maybe both of them, but my money was on Trinia. What it was, I didn't know. And to be honest, I wasn't sure that I wanted to. Whatever it was it didn't seem safe. Though I could feel this magnetic pull tugging from deep within me, not a leaf or stone had moved. It was as if I was the only one affected. Well I wasn't, because no one was around. And again, it felt like it was too much of a coincidence.

The same mechanical whirring was coming from inside. It was louder. Much louder, and getting faster too. It made my heart miss beats and created major tension around the whole building. Now I was really scared of what they where doing in there to have created such a disturbance. I edged closer. I did it as quietly as I could. The whole place gave me the feeling that I shouldn't be there. When I got close enough to the wall, I peaked in through the window.

Trinia was standing less than a meter away with her back turned. She was obscuring the rest of the room so I couldn't see what was going on inside. However I could see that the door to Harry's workshop was closed. That probably meant I was right, that it was only Trinia involved. She was making gestures with her arms and head indicating that she was talking to someone. Talking down to them.

I ducked down and skirted the building until I reached one of Harry's windows. He was in there, sitting in an old arm chair and carving something out of wood. I then made my way round to another of Trinia's windows. This time if I looked through it I would risk being seen. I would have a side on view and would be able to see everything that was going on.

I plucked up my courage and very slowly raised my fingers to the windowsill. A terrifying scene rose before my eyes. Daniel was lying on the floor, covered in blood and bruises. His hands and feet where bound. I had to stifle a gasp and duck down out of sight. I waited for what seemed like an hour before I dared look up again. Trinia was standing right in front of me with her fist raised. A wicked smile creeping across her face.

"Hello Daisy" she said and landed a punch straight in my face.

I was on the floor with blood pouring down my face. My nose was bleeding badly. Light came streaming out of the door way, her silhouette large and triumphant. There was no time to run. Her long pointed fingers where reaching down towards me. My wrist was enclosed in her grip as she wrenched me inside. With tremendous strength she shoved me across the floor. I landed next to Daniel who didn't seem to notice that I was there. He was barely staying conscious. I heard the door lock and looked up. Trinia was grinning menacingly.
