Truth Be Told

"What are you saying? That I am a freaking god!"

"That is exactly what we are saying give or take."

"How is that possible?"

"That we do not know. Both of you parents are 100% Loup-Garu. That's why it doesn't make sense to us unless it has to do with both of them being pure's."

"How would that affect anything? Alex said that his family was a long line of pure's! Was he lying to me or something?"

"It's more along the lines of or something. Alex only got to know his mother and father who were both pure, but his grandparents were mostly normal except for one of his grandmothers. You don't have to be born to a pure family to be a pure. A pure all that they are is a person who is connected to their wolf more than say me for an example. The birth bond between wolf and man is stronger than mine because they hold a stronger connection to their wolf form, what most would call a past life when they are chosen by their wolf it is more of an instant connection rather than one that is formed as the man or woman grows. So, if two pure's have a full pure child then it is likely that they have a stronger connection to the Moon Goddess, but we do not know if that is true, because nobody has taken the time to study that, and we have no way of knowing if it's true. And to be completely honest with you, we can only guess about why you have the blood you do."

I stand there in disbelief of their words, "I don't think I can believe this. It sounds so far-fetched."

"I understand, but we need to get you wound healed if you wouldn't mind."

I nod and he gestures for me to lay belly down on the table so that he can fix up my wound. I lay down face to the table and let the doctors get to work. I see them walk over to the small rolling cabinet and pull something out, "If that is for the pain you don't have to give it to me. I say that, given the fact that I have been stabbed and can still walk around."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I would never say that if I know I can't handle pain. If that was the case I would be unconscious right now, not talking to you."

"You make an excellent point. Okay, I am going to clean the wound and the start to stitch up everything that was cut open with dissolving stitches, then stitch up the skin to keep everything clean and allow it to heal properly. I want you back in two weeks so that I can check and make sure it's healing properly. Okay?"

He starts to clean it and stitch everything to get there when he all of sudden cut the string and walked out of the room, "You can finish the stitches. I am done. Claire, I am sorry, but this is just too much right now."

"That's fine have a good night," I look at the other doctor who walked up to finish everything, "What was that about?"

"Well to tell you the short version we don't need stitches for you like we do for everyone else because you are healing as fast as we are pulling everything together. So, I am going to cut out this last layer and pull everything together so that it all can heal at its pace, but I would still like you to stay overnight so that we could make sure everything is how it's supposed to be."

"Can do, but what about my mom and Alex?"

"Your mom and Alph will be okay. It's you that we should be worried about. You are quickly becoming a target of people. We need to make sure you are in excellent shape internally as well as externally. I will let them know that I am going to keep you tonight, but you are released as soon as you wake up."

"Okay. But I have a question. If you go to the house can you remind my mom to feed Storm? She will know what I mean."

"Of course, I will. If you would like I can bring him here for you."

"Okay. I will be back with a happy fed Storm," she chuckled.

"Thank you!"

Waiting in the silence of the hospital I start to feel the pull of sleep getting stronger till I am swallowed by darkness.
