11. Cody Is In The Way

"Wake up, Hanna!" Was whispered in Hanna's ear. She was instantly on the lookout for something that could be wrong and she saw him. Abner. He was in Hanna's dream again. This dream was a mix of old and somewhat new. Hanna's side being new and Abner's side being old. Hanna looked at him as he tried to free himself from the chains that held his hands to the wall. The noise by her ear made her look at the person that was closer to her than Abner was.

"Well, you're finally up. I have been waiting a while for you two to be asleep together," Someone said as they made their way to the middle of the room to where both could see them. They saw that it was a boy. But not just someone who would do something as stupid as for taking them off the street.

"Cody? How did you get us here? And what are you doing?" Hanna asked as she felt something cold and sharp on her bare skin. When she looked down she saw that her shirt was off. She looked back up at Abner to see that his eyes were glowing. Hanna blushed when Abner looked into her eyes and looked to the ground.

"Cody if you don't put my shirt on right now I swear to whatever god that listen to people like me I will kill you in a heartbeat," Hanna threated looking at Cody. He smiled a grim smile but did nothing. It was at that point when Hanna snapped the chains around her and reached for his neck. Before she could touch him though she was waking up in her bed.

Hanna looked around the room noticing that what she had was a dream. Cody was sitting upright as well but he looked scared beyond himself. "Cody? Cody, what's wrong? What woke us up?" Hanna asked as she got to her feet. Hanna looked down at herself glad to see that she was wearing clothing again. Cody shook his head and backed away from her as she came closer to him.

"I don't know what woke us up but we should go and check things out now," Cody said. Hanna stopped and looked at him but nodded her head and went to go get changed into something that she could wear to go looking. It had been the night when they had all gone to sleep.

Cody and Hanna were just about to open the door when it opened up and the cleaning person stared at them with a blank look on her face. Hanna made a move to her stake but stopped when she saw that Abner was standing behind the cleaning person. He looked at her and bent down to whisper something in the cleaning person ear. She turned and walked away. Abner caught the door before it was about to close and walked into the room. Cody and Hanna were moving by then.

"I want to talk," Abner said and raised his arms to stop Cody's attack. Hanna was the next attack that came. He did try, to stop her's though. The only think Abner could think about was the dream that he had with her in it without a shirt on. His eyes glowed and she went at him harder.

"Any last words Abner?" Hanna asked out of breath sitting down on Abner's lap holding a stake to his heart. He put a hand on her waist and moved her slowly over him to let her know that he didn't have words for her. She blushed and got off of him as fast as she could. "What was that about Han-" Hanna kissed Cody on the mouth to make him stop talking and Cody went willingly. Cody almost pushed her away to say what the hell but he didn't and she kept on kissing him until Hanna heard a low growl come from Abner. She broke the kiss and looked at him curiously.

"What was that for Hanna? You never do that kind of thing. Even on a case that we could have been done with a few days ago," Cody said looking drunk on a kiss. Hanna and Abner shot there glaze toward him and gave him a look that told him to be quiet.
