2. Summer Assignment for Ms. Ingrim: Journal

Hello, children!

My name is Ms. Ingrim. I will be your English teacher for this next year, and I want to get to know more about you.

You know what that means? A fun summer assignment!
The assignment: Write daily about yourself and/or your summer.
It must be in the form of a story. Which means that it should have:

☐ Complete sentences

☐ Dialogue

☐ An interesting start (start with a question or something that will get me asking questions or wanting to know more)

☐ Characters (you, your sister/brother/mother/father/best friends)

☐ A plot

I can't wait to get to know you all through your summer journals!

Warm wishes,

Ms. Holiday Ingrim

(Please enclose a picture of yourselves as well.)
