9. Decisions, Decisions!

Savannah's POV

I hid a the back of the class trying to stay as far away from Harry as I could. It's not like he noticed. He was busy getting loved by Bailey. I looked up and saw he was alone with his gaze locked on me. He looked away when he saw me looking and I felt fluttery. Suddenly there was a screech. Looking over I saw Malfoy laying on the ground, clutching his arm, rolling. His arm was a maroon red and standing above him was Buckbeak.

"Beaky! No!" Hagrid yelled running up to the hippogriff and wrestling him into the rope.

Once Buckbeak was tethered Hagrid turned to Malfoy with scared eyes.

"Hagrid, shouldn't you take him to the Hospital Wing?" Hermione asked looking worried.

Hagrid shook his head numbly and scooped Malfoy up. He rushed into the castle while the class stood there dumbfounded.

Harry's POV

After the lesson I decided to find Savannah. After a brief talk with Mione I found out she had gone for a walk through the castle. I rushed out of the common room and wondered the castle. Peering around I caught sight of something at the end of a corridor. Standing below a moonlight window was Savannah. She hadn't noticed me and was gazing out the window. I heard her murmuring under her breath. She was wearing a pair of jean shorts that looked like she had cut them herself, a loose faded grey t-shirt, and her hair was long and flowing under a snowy white beanie. I walked nervously up to her and tapped her shoulder.

Savannah's POV

I was on the fourth floor. Gazing out a window. Looking for a solution. I could see the lake shimmering in the moonlight, Hagrid's hit with smoke curling out of the chimney, and a corner of the Quiddich pitch where I played as a chaser.

"Oh Merlin, please help me. I don't know what to do. Do I keep liking Harry, or do I move on? He clearly likes Bailey. What do I do?....." I muttered under my breath looking up to the stars.

Suddenly I felt a soft tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw the last person I expected to be there.

"Oh. Um.. H-hello Harry," I stuttered.

"Hello," he said smiling.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Oh nothing. Just looking for you. What are you doing?" He replied.

"Umm... Just admiring the view," I answered casually even though I was freaking out inside.

Harry Potter, was looking for me! Me!

"It is beautiful isn't it?" Harry said smiling cheekily.

I noticed when he said it he wasn't looking out the window, but at me. I smiled. We joked around, laughing, as we went back to the common room. We said goodnight and each went to our dormitory. I sat on my bed and pulled out a book I had just started called, 'The Hunger Games'.

Without warning Kayla, a girl in my year, burst into the dormitory.

"Savannah!" She shouted excitedly kneeling beside my bed, "I know someone that really likes you!"

I sat up. Was it Harry?

"Who is it?" I asked happily.

"Dean Thomas!" Kayla squealed.

My stomach danced. All that night I pondered my situation. I had liked Harry for two years, but was getting nowhere with him. Dean liked me and that felt really good. I was happy to know that someone liked my bubbly, weird, bouncy self! I still had no idea what I would do about these two boys when I woke up in the morning.
