1. Inktober 2016
Inktober is a challenge created by Jake Parker to improve his inking skills and also to help develop positive drawing habits. It started off in 2009. To participate in Inktober, you need any available ink-based products that you have and start drawing. You can use colored ink-based products; it doesn't have to be black and white. You can also use non-ink-based products, like watercolors and color pencils, though the main medium has to be an ink. Create a theme of your own or you can follow any themes that have been created solely for this event.
I first joined Inktober on 2015, which only managed to complete 22 days of inking. My theme was Marvel/DC Heroine in Halloween outfits. This year, I am determine to complete all 31 days. Though I started a day late and fell ill on my third day. Inktober 2016 will be themed around Gijinka. It stands for humanization; referring to just any animal with human characteristics, but the characters often seem to wear a cosplay of the base character rather than having real animal features.
Art tools that I will be using are Muji Small Wood Mechanical Pencil, Faber Castell Eraser, Sakura Pigma Micron 005 to Brush size, Uniball Signo 0.7 Creamy White, Staedtler Mars Lumograpgh 100 2H, and Kaison Sketchbook.
I am also adding a smol short story to each drawings to make it more interesting to look at. I hope you guys enjoy viewing my Inktober arts and reading the related story.
