Rest Little Seal

My son, Noah Ronan, is 2 and a half years old. His eyes are the most beautiful shade of blue. He has plump lips in the shade of a beautiful red rose. But he also has cancer. DIPG. Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. 10% survive for 2 years. 1% survive for another 5. But most kids like my son get 9 months. That was 5 years ago. Noah lived 6 months after his diagnosis. He was 3 days short of his 3rd birthday. He would have been 7 this year (2016). Take a look into the world of grief, but don't stay too long.

1. Rest Little Seal

07/14/2011

I remember as I was being transported into the delivery room, how much it seemed like just short days since I had told my family about my pregnancy. And here I was being escorted to give my baby boy his first look at the world. Right from the moment I saw him, I knew, this boy is a Noah. And he turned out to be the easiest baby. Almost at peace. Which is why when looking up Noah and seeing: "Meaning: Rest, Peace", didn't surprise me at all. Noah measured 1 foot and 7 inches in length and weighted 104 ounces, this explains his middle name Ronan. "Meaning: Little Seal".

Noah Ronan. Rest Little Seal.

Momma misses her little seal.
