5. Diagon Alley, why must you mock me?

Everyday I became more and more used to the Weasley family. By the time the week was up, the twins and I were pulling pranks on everyone! It was so much fun! One time, we set off two dungbombs in Percy's room right after he had polished every shelf for an hour. His face was priceless!! He chased us outside, and we ran into Mrs. Weasley.

"Um, hey mum." George said sheepishly.

"What are you two teaching her?" She cried.

"How to rule the school!" Fred cried.

"All three of you back into the house." She scolded. "Oh, and we're going to go to Diagon Alley tomorrow." She announced.

"Ya!" We all cried at the same time. I couldn't wait! But for now, Mrs. Weasley's room would dungbomb itself!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I awoke to the sweet sound of birds singing and the hum of the soft wind outside. I let out a long yawn and through on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I opened the window and breathed in fresh air. I was so excited!!!! i was going to Diagon Alley for the first time today!!!!!! But a shadowing thought immersed from the back of my mind.
"Uncle Lucius." I muttered, and frowned. Suddenly I didn't want to go to Diagon Alley anymore. I could pretend to be sick. Or maybe I could explore the roof and 'accidentally' fall off. I don't know what I'd do, but one of those things would *not* be going to Diagon Alley. Even if Uncle wasn't there at that time, he would have spread the word. I was doomed. I changed back into my pajamas and hopped into bed.
"Silver? Are you ready?" Mrs. Weasley called from the door.
"Um, I'm not feeling well." I lied.
"What do you mean?" She asked, coming in.
"My, uh, head hurts. And my stomachs feels off." Oh God I was a terrible liar.
"Sweetie, are you sure?"
"Yes." I replied a bit too quickly. She caught on only a moment later.
"Is it about your family?" I looked away.
"I don't wanna go back. You're such a better family than them."
"You know we won't let them hurt you."
"But they have so much power! They have ties with even the minister himself!"
"I think you're forgetting something. There is a public. If the Minister makes an unruly decision, everyone will know." She pointed out. "We'll keep you save, darling." She put a hand on my shoulder and smiled. "Now come downstairs. Breakfast is ready and we'll be heading out soon." I got up and followed her downstairs to the kitchen, where Fred and George had on snickering faces. Mrs. Weasley looked at them suspiciously.
"What did you boys do...?" She asked. I was a bit curious, too.
"Nothing, mum!" George said defensively.
"Honestly, why do you think that every time we smile we did something wrong?" Fred snickered.
"Because that's usually the case." She pointed. I laughed a bit.
"Now hurry up with your breakfast, we're headed to Diagon Alley in five minutes." She announced. Just then there was a loud explosion and a scream from Percy, who was still upstairs.
"FRED!!!!! GEORGE!!!!!" Molly and Percy yelled at the same time, though from different parts of the house. I cracked up laughing, as did Ginny and Ron, as the twins bolted out of the house.
Five minutes later we all stood in front of the fire place, the twins with very red and sore ears.
"Now that that's all taken care of, shall we go?" Mrs. Weasley chirped. Fred and George grumbled and I shook my head.
"Alright, Arthur you first. Make sure the kids get through." She said. He stepped into the fireplace and said,
"Diagon Alley!" He was whisked away in a cloud of green. Then followed Percy, the twins, Ron, and Ginny. Finally, it was my turn. I took a hand full of the flop powder and said,
"Diagon Alley!" Just like everyone else. I landed in the fireplace of a shop in Diagon Alley, with the rest of the Weasley's. Mrs. Weasley appeared behind me and we all set off to get our school supplies.
It had been an hours and a half of shopping for school supplies with absolutely no interruptions, negativity, or annoyance. We just had to get our wands and we could go! I was so close to the finish line, by a certain platinum haired family was waiting all too patiently. I was trailing my way behind Mrs. Weasley as the family all came back together t after I had gotten my wand. 11 1/2 inch, Pine Wood, Dragon Heart String Core, slight flexibility. I was so proud of myself. I didn't have anything to worry about! Until I did. I looked over to my left to see a tall man with platinum colored hair striding towards me.
"Mrs. Weasley." I squeaked, holding onto her arm. He gave me a cold hard stare, and fearing the worst, I fainted, hoping to stay asleep forever.
