Two years later-Summer 2015
I walk down to the coffee shop where I used to work. One of our songs come on the speakers on the ceiling thing above us. "It's weird hearing our songs." Phoebe says. Sydney nods. "Yeah." Sophie agrees. "And I guess to all the passerbys that know us think it's weird to see us." I add, meaning all the teens looking at us. I allow my bandmates to go inside before I do. I walk through the open doorway and see Kara,my old boss, behind the counter. She hugs the four of us. "What can I get you?" She asks, smiling. I set down a piece of paper with our usuals,Sydney-Cotton Candy,Phoebe-Caramel,Sophie-Caramel,and Me-Vanilla. She laughs and the employees working work on our drinks. My bandmates and I chat until a song comes on the cafe's radio. Phoebe repeatedly slaps my arm and Sophie gasps at the song. Sydney looks from me to Phoebe to Sophie. I stand there. Listening to the voices. "Emily-" Phoebe begins. I shake my head, smiling to myself. Someone walks inside and taps the bell, which makes everyone turn their heads in the direction of the doorway. Silence between us. "Hey,isn't that She's Kinda Hot?" Calum asks and no one answers him. My band grabs our drinks and sits down in a booth. I set my drink down and sigh. "It's been two wonderful years without them and now they show up?" I ask. Sydney shrugs. "It's just a coincidence." Sophie says. "A bad one." I reply, and take a sip of my drink. I catch Ashton glancing over at us. The guys's song ends and one of our songs starts. "This is weird." Sydney whispers. "This radio is different than the one outside." Phoebe reminds her, taking a sip of her drink. We go home and I go on twitter. Phoebe writes songs with Sophie. And Sydney lies on the floor for no reason. The doorbell rings and I sigh, standing up. I open the door. "Ashton?" I say.
