"This is where you will be staying," I said as I opened the door to an empty room. It was my room but my mother asked me to stay with my sister until Pri- I mean Luke, goes back to his kingdom. "Sorry that it's not as big as you are used to," I added as I looked over to him. He looked around at the room with a blank expression.
"Don't apologize..." he began to say but paused. I realized he had forgotten my name so I cut in.
"Andromeda," I answered. "But you can call me Andy if you want. That's what my friends call me," I added and he nodded.
"Well, you don't have to apologize, Andy. To be honest, I didn't quite like the big rooms and stuff like that," he finished. I was shocked at what he said. I thought of him as one of those Princes who loves gold and power like you read in history books.
"Really? Why? If I were you I would love to live in a castle and wear beautiful gowns and stuff." I started to dream about it. Dancing around with my prince and watch as my sister danced with a young boy or eat whatever at the snack table. My mother would be happily watching in the corner until some handsome man walks over and takes her hand.
"That is really nice but I felt bad for the poor people in my kingdom. People who have to work really hard for their food as for me who just has to sit down and wait for my servants to bring me food. I would walk by and see children with rags on. I felt ashamed of myself for loving what I have," he answered. I came out of my daydream. Now I was really shocked.
"Wow. That's so sweet of you to think about your people instead of yourself," I remarked. Luke looked down with a sad expression. "Let's talk about something different! What's your favorite food?" I asked as I changed the subject.
"Hm... I always loved rabbit that my cook Jeffrey would always cook me," he answered. I looked at him in horror.
"You eat rabbits!" I almost shouted. He nodded.
"They're really good!" he chirped." You never had it? What do you eat in America?" he asked confused.
"All kinds of things! Like pizza and-" I began but Luke cut me off.
