I WAS RIGHT!!
All the pain was from me getting my period. I started Saturday (three days ago), luckily after I had gotten home from my Drama performance. I'm getting a lot of cramps right now, and it feels like I'm dying. But I'll make it alive! ^.^
So, I have a couple of story ideas in mind, and I'm actually working on one of them. I was thinking of doing a modern fairy tales series, where I'll rewrite famous fairy tale stories (Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Aladdin, Peter Pan, etc.) and put them into a modern day timeline.
The story I've actually started writing is heavily based off of Demi Lovato's, Cool for The Summer song. The story is actually titled that, too, since I'm going off the song... The lyrics of the song will be tailored into the story, but only at the parts where I deem them to be important. So not every chapter is going to start with italicized lyrics, but a few might c: The lyrics will also most likely not be in full order. Like I said, I'm only putting in lyrics where I think they're necessary. I definitely want to incorporate the lyrics into my story, but I also don't want to distract from it. Does that make sense? I hope it does.
Aside from that, I also spent some time on my Alice in Wonderland story. I went in and fixed a few things. I started that story in my freshman year, and now I'm in my junior year. So I've certainly grown as a writer, and reworded a few things. I've also deleted some stories as I had no idea where I was going with them in the first place, and wasn't going to continue them anyways. I have a couple more stories that I think I'm going to do the same thing to...I don't want my profile to be shrouded in cringey stories that I did in freshman year. I want people to be able to enjoy what I have posted, and not be steered away. If I don't even like what I wrote, there's no way someone else will. So I'm just getting rid of things that I don't think anyone wants to waste their time reading.
