New York City – July 10th, 2012
“Come over tonight,” Joe said over the phone.
“Come over and do what?” Audrey asked suggestively, with a wide smile on her face.
“Come over and we’ll do whatever we wanna do,” he said, using the same suggestive tone she did.
“I’d love to come over,” Audrey said, giggling girlishly into the phone – the object of her affection, the boy she had only fantasized about a few months ago wanted to spend time with her.
“I can’t wait,” he breathed, causing her cheeks to flush.
“I can’t either,” she said quietly through her smile.
“Come over at eight?” He questioned.
“To Nick’s?” She confirmed.
“Of course to Nick’s. Where else would you like to meet up? Your café?” He said, his tone playful.
“It’s not my café. And it’s not a café, it’s a diner,” Audrey giggled.
“It’s yours and Nick’s special spot,” he said teasingly.
“Are you jealous?” She questioned, a curious smirk on her face.
“Pssssh. No… yes… maybe… no!” He joked.
“Well, that just means you and I need a special spot,” Audrey giggled.
“Nick’s spare bedroom?” He laughed.
“Ooh, I like that special spot,” she cooed.
“Me too,” he laughed.
“Maybe someday we can make my bedroom a special spot of ours,” she offered.
“At your parent’s house?” He asked, sounding thrown off.
“Well, I won’t live there for much longer and I’ve always kind of had a fantasy about bring a really good looking boy into my room and having my way with him,” she explained, smirking widely.
“Mmm. Perhaps that can be arranged,” he said, his tone low and seductive.
“Sounds perfect,” Audrey giggled.
“I’m pretty much just going to move in with you into your new apartment, by the way,” Joe chuckled.
“As opposed to Nick’s luxury bachelor pad?” Audrey questioned.
“Yeah, totally,” he said matter-of-factly.
“Into my tiny little studio apartment? Where will I fit you?” She giggled.
“In your bed,” he said seriously.
“Mmm. Sounds… pleasing,” she told him.
“You will be pleased,” he informed her matter-of-factly.
“So tonight…” Audrey said, changing the subject back because she was standing in the middle of the Duane Reade drug store having this sexual conversation and she couldn’t help the blush on her face from her arousal.
“Tonight. Eight o’clock. If you eat, don’t eat a lot,” he said cryptically.
“What?” She asked curiously, wondering if it had to do with something sexual.
“Don’t ask questions, Audrey. Just come over. Wear something comfortable,” he explained, confusing her further.
“I have no idea what you have planned,” she stated, a smile ever-present on her face.
“Good,” he breathed, leaving her so entirely curious, she almost couldn’t contain herself.
If she was in a dream, she didn’t want to be woken up. Joe Jonas was her boyfriend and everything was just so divine. The thing that surprised her the most about dating him was just how down to earth and normal he was. Well, he wasn’t normal, per say – the kid had a goofy side, of course, but that’s what Audrey loved about him. She loved that he could be his goofy self around her and she could be that way with him. It was like she didn’t need to impress him, because with the way he looked at her, she knew she had him. And sometimes that was the hardest part of a relationship – the hours spent wondering if the other person liked you the same as you liked them. With Joe, Audrey just knew he did. And he didn’t have to lavish her with expensive gifts or jet her off to far-away lands. They were just kids – normal kids getting to know each other. Every day with him felt real. Every time she kissed him, she felt that spark. Every time she was with him, she just felt whole. He was her missing puzzle piece. And she thanked God every day for bringing the Jonas brothers into her life.
After Audrey paid for her birth control prescription, after standing in line at the drug store for what felt like forever, she received a text from Joe.
By ‘wear something comfortable’, I mean sweatpants or something like that.
What? I am so confused.
We’re having a night in.
That involves sweatpants?
What the hell do you have planned?
Eight o’clock. You’ll see. ;)
As asked, Audrey showed up at Nick’s door dressed comfortably in a pair of black sweatpants, flip flops and a white fitted t-shirt. Joe answered the door with a wide smile.
“No fair!” Audrey immediately cried out as she looked up and down his body.
“You’re wearing jeans, you bastard,” she scoffed at him in his stupid blue jeans and t-shirt.
“I haven’t had a chance to change. And besides, I didn’t think you’d follow the rules,” he said with a smirk as he closed the door once she was inside.
“Of course I followed the rules, jerk,” Audrey giggled, swatting at him.
“Hey, hey, hey!” He chuckled, dodging her flying hand.
“I’m in sweats, Jonas. Is this some sort of practical joke or what?” She pouted.
“No, no. I’m going now. I’m going to change. Stay there,” he laughed, moving toward the guest bedroom.
Audrey stood with her arms crossed over her chest waiting for him. She looked around wondering what the hell he was up to. Why would she need to be wearing sweats? Joe’s words of “if you eat, don’t eat a lot” looped in her head and she peeked into the kitchen finding it empty with the lights off. Hmm. There was no dinner cooking. She hadn’t eaten anything just in case. Looks like she was screwed. She sighed, dropping her shoulders. Joe was being so cryptic. What did he have planned?
“Better?” Joe asked as Audrey pulled herself out of the doorway of the kitchen.
He was still wearing the same t-shirt, but was now wearing navy blue pajama pants. Audrey smiled and nodded at him.
“Were you snooping?” He smirked at her.
“What? No,” she said, furrowing her brow.
“I told you to stay put… over there,” he said, pointing toward the door.
“So,” she said, giving him a little playful attitude.
“Ooh, girl,” he said, wrapping his left arm tightly around her shoulder and neck, pressing the side of her face against his chest.
“Joe!” Audrey shrieked and he let up his grip as he leaned in leaving a chaste kiss on her lips.
“Come on,” he said, moving her along to the stairs. He led her up to the music room where most of the newest Jonas Brothers record was being written on a daily basis.
The lights were dim. As a matter of fact all the lights were off and only the screen saver of the Blu-ray player was blinking on the television. The table in front of the couch was filled with all sorts of candy and popcorn and snacks, all sitting next to a pile of various Blu-ray movies.
“Joe,” Audrey smiled, looking up at him.
“I wanted to have a chill night with you,” he said, smiling at her with an almost boyish charm.
Audrey’s smile widened for him. Oh, he was perfect.
“This is… awesome,” she told him.
“You like it?” He smiled at her.
“I love it,” she said, moving toward the couch.
“You pick the first movie. They’re all Nick’s, so I guess you can blame him for the lack of selection,” he told her with a shrug.
“Oh, man,” she said, grabbing the stack of movies as Joe sat down next to her on the couch.
“Uh… Batman Begins, for sure. Oh, man. Then we have to watch The Dark Knight,” she said, pulling out the two cases from the stack.
“Okay,” he said, smiling widely at him.
“The new one comes out so soon!” She said excitedly.
“I had no idea, Audrey,” he said, smirking at him.
“What?” She asked him quickly.
“That you were this big of a nerd,” he chuckled.
“If liking Batman makes me a nerd, then yeah!” She giggled.
“I love it,” he smiled, leaning in to kiss her lips.
“I love Batman,” she smirked at him and he cracked up.
“I can’t argue with that,” he laughed as he stood up to put the Blu-ray in.
“So, sweatpants and an empty stomach. I get it now,” she said, smirking at him.
“Yeah. I didn’t want to be too obvious,” he smiled back as he set up the movie.
“Is this because Nick and I were watching that stupid president documentary?” Audrey asked, furrowing her brow. Her heart squeezed in her chest at the thought of Joe feeling left out.
“No. I mean, well. I don’t know. I just… I just wanted to be able to just hang out. And yeah, I was a little jealous. I mean, we never just hang out like you and Nick do. I wanted to just hang out,” he shrugged as he came back to sit with her on the couch.
“Aw, Joe. I mean, this is so sweet and I appreciate it so much. We can totally hang out whenever. I want to hang out. I love hanging out with you, you know,” she told him, placing her hands on his cheeks.
“Yeah, I know. I just want to be able to do things with you because I’m not always going to be here. I mean, I live across the country,” he said, causing her heart to contract painfully.
Sometimes she forgot about the distance that was wedged between them. The entire continental United States stood in the way of them when he was in Los Angeles.
“I know,” she said quietly.
“I just want to spend as much time with you as possible,” Joe said, wrapping his arm around her shoulder, pulling her lightly against his chest.
“I want the same, Joe,” she breathed as the butterflies all rioted in her stomach from his loving words and even more loving gesture. She never wanted to lose him.
Joe quietly kissed the top of her head as his free hand pressed play to begin their first feature presentation.
They were halfway through The Dark Knight when Nick arrived home. Audrey was cuddled up against Joe, her head in his lap as he quietly stroked his fingers through the hair on the side of her head. She felt so relaxed with him. It was wonderful.
“Awesome! I love this movie,” Nick said, walking into the room, plopping down on the couch with them.
Audrey’s eyes widened as she looked at her friend. She felt Joe’s body tense from underneath her and his hand stopped it’s relaxing motions.
“That’s the best part right there!” Nick laughed after the Joker smashed a pencil into some goons eye socket.
“Nick,” Joe said through his brother’s laughing. Audrey pulled herself up into a seated position because she felt uncomfortable. She knew Joe didn’t want him intruding on their date.
“Nick!” Joe said more firmly when Nick hadn’t heard him the first time.
“What?” Nick asked, letting his laughter die out as he looked between Audrey and Joe.
“We’re on a date. We’re currently dating, okay. Like one-on-one,” Joe said a little snottier than he needed to be.
“Oh. Oh! Okay,” Nick said, nodding his head.
“So, uh… I know this is technically your house, but get the fuck out. At least out of this room,” Joe told him.
“Joe!” Audrey said, swatting her hand into his chest.
“What?” Joe asked, looking over at her as he rubbed the spot on his chest where she hit him.
“You could ask nicely. He didn’t know,” she told him.
“Nicholas, could you please get the fuck out?” Joe smirked at his brother.
“I get it. I get it,” Nick chuckled, standing up from the couch.
“And maybe turn your TV in your room up a little louder tonight. Or wear headphones to bed,” Joe smirked at him.
“JOSEPH!” Audrey yelped, smacking in the same spot a little bit harder.
“OW!” Joe said, sending her a playful glare.
“’Bodily fluids’. I get it,” Nick chuckled, quoting Joe from a conversation from a while back.
“EW! Gross! Guys!” Audrey whined. Joe and Nick both cracked up at her expense.
“Don’t stain the sheets!” Nick called back to them as he waved and disappeared out the door of the entertainment room.
“Oh my god. That’s… oh my god,” Audrey said, holding her hand over her flushing face.
“Oh, baby,” Joe smiled at her, clapping his hand against her thigh.
“I already had to deal with the embarrassment of talking about taking you in my childhood bedroom as I stood in line at Duane Reade to get my birth control prescription. And now you two embarrass me even further,” Audrey chuckled uncomfortable and Joe laughed out loud.
“Mmm, birth control,” he said, smirking at her as he leaned in closer to her.
“One track mind,” Audrey giggled, placing her whole palm over his face that was slowly advancing toward her.
His tongue jutted out immediately, wetting her entire palm in one slick motion.
“GROSS!” Audrey cried out, pulling back her hand quickly before wiping it violently on his t-shirt clad chest.
Joe laughed out loud and lunged his arms around her tightly, kissing her cheeks relentlessly.
“JOSEPH!” Audrey squealed, trying to squirm out of his grasp.
“Mmm. You taste good, Audrey,” he groaned, over-exaggerating his words.
“Get off me!” She giggled, trying to pry them apart.
“I just want to kiss you. Give me a kiss, woman!” He smirked, pulling his face away, but still keeping his iron clad grip on her.
“You don’t want a kiss, you just want to get me naked, pervert boy!” She giggled, still trying to dodge him.
“You’re right. Screw the movie. Get naked,” he chuckled, pulling up the hem of her shirt.
“Rape! Rape!” She screamed playfully as he got up on his knees to maneuver her onto her back.
“You can’t rape the willing, Audrey,” Joe said, bouncing his eyebrows at her as he wormed his way between her legs. Audrey giggled as she stopped fighting him.
“Good girl,” he smirked down at her.
“I’m going to look passed how degrading that sounded, just this once,” she told him as his face buried into the nape of her neck and his lips worked his magic over her erogenous zone.
“Just this once,” he breathed, rocking his pelvis into hers, showing her just how excited he’d become.
Audrey let out a low groan as the pleasurable feelings raced through her, sending her on a downward spiral that would probably give Joe exactly what he wanted in the end.
“Screw the movie,” Audrey breathed, repeating his words as his head came back up connected their lips.
Joe was such an amazing kisser. Audrey could kiss him day if her lips would allow it. But it only took about a half an hour for her lips to start chaffing due to his stubble. There were many nights when she went home with red irritated lips because of him. But it was always worth it. Plus his stubble made him look like a gajillion times more sexy, so… she was willing to suffer just a little bit for his hotness.
As their lips mashed together, Joe’s hands worked up the front of her t-shirt, touching every inch of skin he possibly could as his hips continued to rock into hers. Her legs were pulled up tightly against his sides as tiny whimpers escaped from her every time he moved against her. He was literally killing her.
When his horny little finger gripped the cups of her bra and exposed her breasts, Audrey broke the kiss.
“Joseph,” she whispered in a scolding tone and he just smiled at her sneakily.
“Do you want your brother to see me naked? Because I don’t want your brother to see me naked,” she told him.
“He’s in his room,” Joe said, looking up at the open doorway before looking back down at Audrey.
“And that suddenly makes him immobilized? He could come out any second,” she told him, replacing the cups of her bra to their rightful place before pulling her shirt down, causing Joe to groan because of it.
“Is it so much to ask to just fuck you on this couch?” Joe whined with a perfect pout on his face.
“Oh! Biggest fantasy!” Audrey laughed out sarcastically and Joe playfully glared at her.
“Oh, how I want to play the role of the horny girl in this one,” Audrey said, shaking her head with a huge smirk on her face as she sat up.
“No, your biggest fantasy is to fuck me in your childhood bed, you naughty girl,” Joe said, smirking suggestively at her and she laughed out loud.
“Isn’t it, Audrey Leigh?” He asked, trying to get her to confess it again.
“Shut up, Joseph Adam,” she sneered at him playfully.
“Oh, you are so sexy. I’ll totally fuck you on your floral sheets with your teddy bears and soccer trophies lining the wall,” Joe said, pressing himself against her again as his lips melded over hers.
“How did you know that’s what my room looked like? Are you stalking me, Jonas?” She gasped playfully, sarcasm dripping from her words as her hands pushed against his chest.
“Lucky guess,” he smirked at her, playing right along with her as he sat back down on the couch.
“You’ll have to wear your hair in piggy tails,” he said, bobbing his eyebrows at her.
“You’re lucky you’re not older than me, because I’d probably start calling you a dirty old man after a comment like that,” she laughed out loud.
“You got the dirty part right,” Joe said, grabbing her hand and placing it on the hard-on in his sweatpants.
“Screw the movie?” Audrey asked, smirking at him.
“Screw the movie,” he agreed, nodding his head as they both got up from the couch at the same time.
“What about all this stuff?” Audrey asked, pointing to their ridiculous mess of food.
“We’ll clean it up in the morning,” Joe said as he shut off the TV and it automatically shut off the Blu-ray player as well.
“I can’t see!” Audrey yelped as the room went dark.
“I’ve got you,” Joe said and pretty much attacked her by grabbing onto her hips and throwing her over his shoulder. Audrey shrieked loudly as he moved toward the door and down the stairs to the bedroom that was deemed his.
Audrey loved everything about being with Joe and this night only proved how incredibly compatible they were.
New York City – July 30th, 2012
“Where are you taking me, you crazy girl?” Joe laughed as she led him down the sidewalk, hand-in-hand.
“No peeking!” Audrey shrieked, suddenly stopping in her tracks, making Joe collide into her body.
Joe opened his eyes just to make sure she was alright.
“JOE! You promised! No peeking!” She squealed, sounding as if he’d hurt her feelings by opening her eyes for the slightest of seconds to see if he injured her in any way when she so abruptly stopped in front of him.
“THEY’RE CLOSED! I was just—” Joe managed to get out.
“You promised!” She said again, cutting him off.
“I did promise. I will keep my eyes closed if you’ll stop stopping so suddenly in front of me. Are you alright?” He asked her as he clapped his free hand over his eyes to show her he was serious about the promise he made to her to keep his eyes closed as she brought me to her very favorite place on earth.
Joe loved getting to know her, so this little adventure was nothing but a pleasure for him.
“I’m fine. Just keep your eyes closed,” she giggled as she once again pulled on his arm and they started walking once again.
“What if the paparazzi start taking pictures of us?” Joe asked her as he trailed behind her.
“Won’t you look like an idiot,” she snorted through a laugh.
“Audrey!” Joe yelped, pulling on her arm, making her collide into his chest this time.
Joe dropped her hand and wrapped his arms around her body.
“Joseph,” she whined again, but he could feel her melting in his arms.
“Kiss me. We’ll really give them something to write about,” Joe said with a smirk, his eyes still shut tightly, per Audrey’s request.
Audrey’s arms wrapped around his neck as her lips pressed sweetly against his.
“I wish I could look at you,” Joe breathed against her lips.
“One look. But your eyes stay on me,” she giggled. Joe popped one eye open, making sure not to look around and she giggled even more.
“Your laugh is the best thing, Aud,” Joe breathed, kissing her lips again as his arms tightened around her.
“Your everything is the best thing,” she countered as Joe opened both of his eyes to look into hers.
“Trying to one up me?” He asked, quirking his eyebrow.
“Trying to completely blow you outta the water, Jonas,” she said, giggling playfully.
“Woman!” Joe laughed, gripping her tightly as he picked her up and swung her around in his arms.
“Joe!” She shrieked before he set her back down on her feet.
“Show me your favorite place on earth,” Joe smiled sweetly at her, leaving a light kiss on her lips.
“It’s only going to make it better now that I am bringing you there, you know,” she said as he dramatically closed his eyes for her again.
“You’re blowing me outta the water, woman,” he smiled, shaking his head at her.
Audrey giggled, leaning in to kiss him once more before she broke free of his embrace.
“Come on. We’re almost there,” she said, tugging him along once again.
Less than a minute later, Audrey’s walking slowed and Joe knew they were close.
“We’re here. Keep them closed. We’re going inside,” she breathed and Joe could hear the excitement in her voice.
“Okay,” he told her, clamping his hand over his eyes once again to make sure he couldn’t accidently peek.
Joe heard the opening of a door and the quiet sound of metal on metal before another door opened.
“Stairs,” she said quietly and Joe noticed the building they were in was nearly quiet. He could hear a soft hum of air conditioning or something, but that was it.
Joe took little steps as a precaution while he went up the stairs blindly. Audrey was still guiding him by his hand, but it was still a difficult task.
“Four flights, Jonas,” she chuckled lightly and Joe groaned playfully.
Once they successfully conquered the stairs, she led Joe down a hallway, or what seemed like a hallway before they stopped and he heard another soft sound of metal on metal and realized she was unlocking the door.
“Is this your new apartment, Aud?” He asked her, feeling a sudden excitement.
“Shh. Just wait,” she said as she opened the door.
“Come in,” she said as she lead him in and shut the door.
We were in an apartment, Joe was sure of it. Whether it was hers or someone else’s, he didn’t know.
“Shoes,” she said and he heard hers clatter to the floor.
Joe quickly kicked off his Nikes and she tugged his arm once again. Joe followed like a blind puppy until she stopped them again and opened another door.
“Come on, Jonas. We’re here,” she breathed.
“Can I open my eyes?” He smirked, still holding his hand firmly over his eyes.
“You can open them,” she said finally and he could hear the smile in her words.
Joe let his hand drop as he slowly opened his eyes to a bedroom – a girl’s bedroom. This was Audrey’s bedroom, he was absolutely sure of it. His eyes looked around at the double bed with a big patchwork quilt on it and mounds of pillows. The walls were painted in a pleasing shade of green almost wasn’t easily visible due to the scrapbook of her life that was plastered all over them. There were pictures and posters and artwork and letters and cards adorning almost every inch of her walls. There were no soccer trophies, but there were teddy bears and other stuffed animals perfect perched in a small armchair in the corner. Her dresser was covered with framed pictures of her life and her makeup and hair supplies. And right on her nightstand sat a framed picture of the two of them – a selfie she took with her phone.
“Aud, this is your room,” Joe breathed, looking over at her.
“This is my room. My favorite place on earth,” she said, smiling bashfully over at him. Joe smiled back, grateful that she would bring him there. He felt closer to her in a split second.
“Thank you for bringing me here,” he smiled at her, grasping her hand in his, pulling her flush against him. Her arms wrapped around his neck and he kissed her.
“Biggest fantasy ever?” Joe quirked his eyebrow at her and she let out a loud laugh as her hand came up, covering her face.
“Don’t get bashful on me now, woman,” he said, smirking widely at her.
“I’m not. I’m not,” she giggled, shaking her head.
“Are your parent’s home?” He asked, keeping his voice low.
“No, they’re at work. It’s a Monday,” she smirked at him.
“Well, then…” Joe said, jutting out his foot, kicking her bedroom door closed.
“Let’s make this fantasy a reality,” he smiled, walking her back towards the bed. She giggled, but never protested.
Joe loved everything about Audrey, including her fantastic ability to make his fantasies come true and in turn let him make hers come true.
