Writing Tips

Some of these tips are from what I learned, on Pinterest, and other things. Hope you find it useful!

5. Covers 101

Another big part to a story is the cover. You can't just put any cover. You have to at least include these things on it:

A title

An author

And something that describes the movella you are writing.

Those three things have to at least be on there or the reader won't know what to think about it. I know a lot of people say 'Don't judge a book by it's cover,' but at least put some effect into it.

You have two options for covers. You either

*Ask on a cover store

*Or make one yourself

If you choose to make one yourself but don't want to spend money I have some sites that can help.

Sites to check out and what I think:

I don't use this site anymore but when I did I use to make pngs with it and it has some cute fonts too.

*Pixlr Express

This is the site I make all my covers on. It has tools you easily can use and some cool effects too.

This is where I get all my fonts. I search what I want my font to look like then add the title, change the color, and then I download it like it's a picture. It's that simple.

Now that you know some places to go you can check them out. Remember to stay in the movellas format: 200x250, 400x500, or 800x1000.

If you need any help how to you can always ask me and I will do my best to explain. I hope this helps!
