I was sat on my bed, upstairs. Next to my annoying brute of a cousin Dudley! He was momentarily in my room questioning me about how I should behave and be nice. I sighed. NICE! When is that ever my style in life?
I rolled my eyes at my devious cousin.
"Adriana are you even listening to a word I'm saying! Stupid girl!" He hissed. I stood up from my bed and in front of Dudley. A nasty glare upon my face.
"Don't you ever! Ever! Call me stupid again! Filthy cousin!" I spat. That would've of kept him at bay for an hour or so.
"Filthy! You can talk!" He stormed out of my bedroom and slammed the door. I sighed and fell on my bed. Why did I have to be the one with a stupid family and a pathetic wimp for a brother? I then heard Dudley scream from the stares.
"HURRY UP POTTER! WE'RE GOING TO THE ZOO!"
What a selfish lump! I thought. I picked myself of my bed and walked out of my bedroom. I walked down the stairs and saw Harry come out of his 'closet'. Idiot. I pushed his head back in the cupboard and shut the door. I smirked at my actions and walked into the kitchen.
"Make me coffee girl!" Uncle Vernon ordered. When do I take orders from these people. If they were true family to me, they would be treating me with respect. I stood in front of him and waited for him to say please.
"... Well! What are you waiting for?" He shouted. Harry then entered. He rolled his eyes at me.
"Well, Uncle Vernon! I am waiting for a please and a thank you to escape your mouth before I even dare go any where near that kettle!" I snapped. His face went bright red. Harry, Aunt Petunia and Dudley all had their mouths agape.
"We have given you the love from our hearts, the food off of our table. And you repay us with this!" He said pointing at me. I shrugged. "DON'T YOU EVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN LIKE THAT! GIRL!" He shouted.
"I have a name! And for your information, it's Adriana! In case you don't know anything!" I mumbled.
"What did you say?" He hissed.
"Nothing!" I grumbled.
"Good! Now keep it that way!" I walked back out of the kitchen and was about to go up the stairs when I saw a brown enveloped letter on the door mat. I picked it up and examined it.
