When Tom and Shirley returned Mickey and Alison were getting ready to go out for dinner.’
They had caught the sun and the skin had begun to turn brown.’
“Did you both enjoy the museum then?’
“Yes shouted Shirley from the bathroom as she went for a shower.’
“We will see you down there because we’ve not eaten all day and we are hungry now.’
“They serve lunch you know Mick?’
“Yes, I know but we couldn’t be bothered to eat after breakfast so we skipped it.’
Oh, alright then; we won’t be long.’ Just start with out us.’
The door closed as Mickey and Alison left so Tom jumped into the shower with Shirley where they made love before getting ready to go out.
On the menu that evening was pork chops roasted potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables. They had apple pie with ice cream for dessert.
“Do you want to stay on the complex tonight or go elsewhere?’
“Well if we go out it is going to cost us so we are better off staying here.
Sinatra’s had a Spanish guitarist playing then there was a cabaret.
Shirley and Alison liked the show with all the singing, dancing, and razzmatazz but it wasn’t to Tom and Mickey’s taste. They waited until the disco came back on before getting up to dance.
“So,’ where are we going tomorrow asked Alison?’
“I’m easy anywhere you like;
“We could spend a day at the beach; there’s paragliding or we could go out in a boat.
There’s a boat that can take us to another part of the island.’
“Yes Maureen told me that we can go to Peacock Island in the centre of Benidorm bay where they have an Aqua scope where you can go down and see the marine life.
Or we could go to Calpe which takes an hour and have a walk around. Last boat leaves at 5pm so we would have to make sure we get it.’
“Alright I am up for both said Mickey.’
“We can take a picnic again if you want.’
“Why not, might as well save a few bob.’
“We will need plenty of drinks though.’ “Leave that to us said Tom Mick and I will grab six bottles each.’
“Try and get some coca cola; I will get those tonight and stick them in the fridge.’
Both Mickey and Tom went to the bar and asked for six bottles of Coke but asked for the bottle tops to be left on.’
They came back to the table with the bottles and said that they would take them straight up.
“We might as well go up now it’s twenty past twelve now.
“Yes we better if we are going straight after breakfast. It only takes fifteen minutes to make sandwiches said Shirley.’
They walked back to their rooms carrying the coke and placed it into the small fridge before going to bed.
The boat trip to Calpe took in the sights of the sea where porpoises followed the boat.
Shirley was taking pictures as they followed the boat at great speed. The boat stopped at a rocky outcrop to watch some high diving by the locals.
