Tom and Mickey learned one important thing about women and that was it takes them ages to get ready to go out.

The lads quickly showered, afterwards they put on a clean tee shirts and a pair of beige coloured lightweight trousers and brown leather shoes.

“Hurry up will yer shouted Mickey as the two girls were applying mascara to their eye lashes and some red lipstick.’

The girls wore white sleeveless dresses that came six inches above the knee and black sandals each. of them wore a black hair band and carried a black handbag.

The walked down to the foyer then saw the restaurant bar and found themselves a seat.

The Spanish waiter’s came over to the table where they were sitting dressed black trousers and red waistcoats; they were all handsome looking and flirted with all the young girls. Both Shirley and Alison giggled away as the waiters complimented the girls on their dresses.

“Can we get some food here Mickey finally said to the waiters which stopped them in their tracks.’

“Yes sir what can we get for you.’

“Can we have steak and chips please?’

“Would you like a salad to go with that as well?’

“Mickey though what the hell it was all inclusive so he nodded at the waiter.

“Would you like drinks whilst you wait for your meal?’

“Yes could we have four pints of San Miguel, and can we have some cocktails for the girls please.’

“I make you special cocktails said the young waiter to Alison and she smiled back at him with cow eyes.’

“When they left Micky was furious.’

“Did you see those Diego bastards trying it on with our girls?’

“Forget it Mickey, they are most probably homosexual.’

“I don’t give a shite what persuasion they are; I think it’s down right rude.’

The waiter returned with the drinks as was about to explain to the girls what was in the cocktails and Mickey cut him short. “Excuse me we just want a drink not a running commentary on how they were made.’

“As you wish sir said the waiter and went onto another table where he tried on the same spiel.’

“There was no need to be rude said Alison; I thought he was quite handsome.’

“Right then you go with him; I’m going else where for a drink.’

“Mickey was about to get up and leave and Tom calmed him down.’

“Come on Mick let’s not spoil our first night here.’

“Look matey it’s you that she will be going home with tonight not them; so just calm down and enjoy yourself.’

“Mickey sat sucking lemons until the food arrived.

He cut into his steak in relative silence then ate some chips and salad.’

Mickey was drinking fast and had finished his second pint by the time Tom had finished his first.

He called over the waiter and asked him for the same round again.’

“Take it easy matey it’s only eight o’clock and the night is but young.’

“It’s humid Tom, plus the drink here is free so what the hell.’

“I don’t want to be carrying you back to your room tonight.’

“San Miguel is like piss, you can drink this all night and not get drunk on it.’

All the same we can go to the entertainment complex and get a drink in there too.’
