Bad Boy Clifford

"I can't control myself around him. It's like I'm a completely different person." I said to Chloe. She raised her eyebrows. "It's not a bad thing, he just makes me feel, I don't know.... dangerous."

"How do you know them?" I asked Ashton while looking at the floor of the car. Ashton sighed.

"Sometimes.. we like to.. I don't know. Play songs together."

"What?! You're in a band with 2 guys who are 2 years younger than you?!" I questioned.

"3 actually. Calum plays bass."

When he said that, my heart started racing. Last year I had the biggest crush on Calum but nothing happened because he was two years older.

"Then let me hear you sometime." I replied.

"Fine." he said while spinning the steering wheel.

Once we got to the school, Ashton waved goodbye when I got out.

"No, get out of the car." I demanded. Ashton looked confused. He got out shutting the door behind him.

"Alex, I'm not walking you up to-"

I interrupted him with a big hug. He hugged me back very warm and cozy, because he was really strong. It lasted about 30 seconds, Ash hugging tighter and tighter every one.

"Alright Ali, see you later." He called me Ali sometimes, and he was the only one I allowed to do that.

"Bye, Ashy." I said while kissing his cheek. He blushed and got back into the car. I hadn't seen Ashton in so long, and I didn't realize how much I missed him.

All day I had been thinking about Ashtons "band". Were they good? Who was the singer? Ash had been playing drums for years, so I knew he was good.

5th period came along, and Luke sat next to me. Staring.. again. I was thinking about asking him why, but I kind of liked it. He looked like he was thinking about something really important the whole class period. Once during the period, our teacher was playing around and saw him spacing out, and decided to startle him. Luke jumped in his seat and then put his hand on my thigh. He took it off right after, but man I was confused. Was he trying to protect me?

After school I walked out to Lukes car like usual. He was waiting there, and when I got there, he opened the door for me, holding my shoulder.

The car ride was surprisingly not awkward. We played songs for each other, and talked about all kinds of stuff. But, once we got home, things changed.
