It wasn’t that man. It was just stupid Seungjun who wanted to scare me. Well, he did it, I think he’ll remember my punch for the rest of his life. Youjin walked out of the shop and was surprised to see Seungjun and my much more worse mood. Anyway, when I thought everything was my imagination, I saw that man turning and going into a dark alley. I got chills, but forgot about it when we returned to the dorm.
Next day we had schedule at dawn, so we didn’t get much sleep (try to sleep with this clingy Pokemon...). When we were going to the car, someone suddenly bumped into us. Or should I say ‘attack’, because it was so loud that I immediately stopped behind Seungjun, so I didn’t know whom this crazy fan wanted to touch. Luckily, she was quickly transported away and the rest of the way was without surprises.
After a few lessons at company we went to a photoshoot, which was not so far from company’s building. But we barely left the company, crazy screams and chanting almost made us fall over. I really fell over a little later, when something round, supposedly a stone, reached my head.
“You’re okay?” Inseong said with worried face, helping me to stand up.
I nodded and looked at the stone, that turned out to be a boiled egg. From what I heard, a fan wanted me to eat this for my health. If this is their new method of taking care of us, I’ll become friends with hospital bed soon.
“I’m afraid it’s them,” Heejun whispered to me. “Tinkerbells wouldn’t do this, I think...”
Fortunately there wasn’t even a bruise, so I easily forgave them this incident. I didn’t know whether Heejunnie was right, but something worried me much more at the fan signing at 2 p.m.
“Hello, this is KNK! We’ll try our best!” we shouted together and the event started.
Of course, there were a lot of fans. Normal ones, crazy ones, some anti-fans too. When I was observing fans with my smiley face, I saw him. That guy who scared the hell out of me yesterday. I turned pale. He’s been still hiding his face, but this time I could see his wry smile. He creeped me out. I poked Seungjun, who was sitting beside me, and asked what he was thinking about this man. He didn’t respond, but I saw fear in his eyes. When Youjin caught up our conversation, he saw the man and asked for a security. However, as we were waiting for security, the man disappeared.
“We have to tell manager,” Youjin said, when we were coming back to our dorm. Then he looked at me sharply. “Why didn’t you tell us?”
“I thought it was my imagination,” I justified myself. “But we still don’t know, do we? He could be anyone...”
I was a little mad at Youjin. Well, I didn’t tell anyone about that man, but Inseong and Heejun also knew about sasaeng fans...
Later this evening I was going to Seungjun for my daily backscratching, when I heard doorbell. Who is it at this hour, I thought and went open the door.
“Delivery!” deliveryman said. “Ah, it’s been already paid.”
“Thank you,” I replied and closed the door.
I watched the package on each side. I sighed. It must’ve been Seungjun. He usually orders something to eat without telling anyone. I smelled the package. But there was no food’s smell. I frowned. Eventually I decided to check the package in the living room. Nah, if it’s me, Seungjun will forgive me, I thought and opened it.
My scream would’ve woken up dead. The package landed on the floor together with me. Because Seungjun’s room was the closest one to the front door, he was the first one to appear.
“What?” he asked surprised, seeing me on the floor.
A few seconds later the living room was full of members. I needed a few more seconds to came to my senses. My body suddenly felt really weak. Youjin looked into the package and stepped back with frightened face. Inseong and Seungjun also screamed. Heejun decided not to look.
Inside the package was my photograph. Everything would be okay, if that photo wouldn’t be shattered and pierced with thumbtacks. Youjin dared to look at it again and found a note. It has a sentence made of newspaper’s clippings:
THIS IS WARNING.
