I sit at the piano, laughing as Calum,Michael, and Sophie dance really weirdly. "Guys." I manage to get out. I lean to see what Luke is watching on the tv. I laugh even more when I see Troy Bolton on the golf course from High School Musical 2. Sydney brings a camera over to me. "Well, how's stress treating you,Miss Drummer?" She asks, shoving the camera in my face. "Terribly. But right now,my friends are with me with makes me feel better." "Hooray!" Sydney yells, which makes Luke shush her. Phoebe comes out from the pantry, her hands full of mini bags of chips, granola bars, and other sweets. She drops them all on the coffee table and Luke huffs, turning off the tv. Phoebe goes back into the pantry and comes out with two jars. One,a half full Nutella jar,and the other is a full Vegemite jar. Sydney brings the camera over to Phoebe and the table full of food. Ashton slides towards me on the hardwood floor. "Gimme your hand," He tells me. I stand up and give him my hand. "Ready?" He asks. I nod. We run down and slide across the floor. I laugh. We fall onto the ground, laughing. "Oh,Ash." I say through laughs.
Sydney walks past Luke, throwing a few pieces of popcorn at him. "Here ya go,Hemmo." She tells him. "Don't call me that." Luke says. "Why?" "Because only my friends can call me that." "I'm not your friend? Is this because of the pool thing? Because I did apologize." "It's about more than that." Luke replies. "What do you mean?" They begin to argue again. Luke eventually shoves Sydney backward and I stand in between them,my arms crossed. "Stop acting like fucking twelve year olds." I demand and Sydney glares at Luke. "He started it!" She yells. "Shut up,you'll disturb people. It's Five AM here." I hiss. Luke sticks out his tongue at Sydney. They walk away from each other. I sigh and go back to my notepad, where I was writing a song. A song about a guy. Most likely Ashton. But it doesn't directly have his name in it.
We all lie on the living room floor, everyone is asleep, but me. I stare at up at the night sky through the window on the ceiling. A phone vibrates. I sit up and check my phone. Nope. I put my phone back on the coffee table and lie back down, resting my head on Ashton's shoulder.
