I smile at him. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "I," A breath. "Could ask the same about you." Ashton says. "Why are you all out of breath and sweaty?" I ask him, giggling as he hugs me. "I actually don't know." We laugh. I close the door after he walks inside. I push my black glasses up my nose and sit beside him on the couch. "So,how'd you know I came here? And how'd you get here a few minutes after me?" He puts his arm around me. "Sydney texted me telling me you were stressed and packing a suitcase. So,I asked your dad where'd you go if you were stressed and he suggested here. And I hopped on a bus and it dropped me off at the end of the road. And I ran down here." I nod slowly at his response. "Did you bring any clothes or anything?" "It's on the porch." "Well,go get them!" I say, giggling as he gets up. I pick up my bag of cookies and begin eating them. Ashton steps his bag next to mine and sits back down.
"Can I have one?" He asks. "No." "Why?" He giggles. "Cause I'm eating them."
I stare at the sky. "Mum,what do I do?" I whisper as if she will hear and answer. But there is no response. There never will be. I shift on the porch step, resting my elbows on my knees. The stars shine without a care in the world. I sigh. A breeze flows and I begin singing Cancer by My Chemical Romance. It's about 3 in the morning here. I keep singing as a car stops in front of the house. Ashton opens the front door just enough to stick out his smiling face. I stop singing as they run out to me. I'm hugged by Calum,Phoebe,Sophie,Luke,Michael, and Sydney. Ashton hugs us,too.
A/n: I probably shouldn't be writing, but I am. It helps me cope with things.
