One Month Later:
"Wake up, Harry." Severus said, gently shaking Harry's shoulder. Harry gave an indistinguishable grunt. "Wake up." Severus said, shaking harder. Harry rolled over and pulled his pillow over his head. "Potter wake up!" Severus snapped.
"No." Harry grunted.
"That's it." Severus said, and walked away. Harry grinned into his pillow, and the next thing he knew he was soaking wet.
"Okay, you wanna do that, do you?" Harry said, sitting up and grabbing 'air' from next to him. Harry pulled, and a bucket of soapy water dumped on Severus's head.
Severus brushed water out of his eyes. "Why did you have that rigged?"
Harry blushed. "Um, I wanted to give you an early start on a shower."
Severus actually chuckled. "Okay. This is what's going to happen." Severus then pulled out his wand and said, "Auguamenti!" A jet of freezing water hit Harry in the face.
Sopping wet but still laughing, Harry pulled out his wand. "Auguamenti!" He yelled. One drop fell out of the wrong end. Harry glared down at it. "Really? Give me a minute." He said to Severus, then ran to the bathroom. When he came out, he was dragging several buckets full of water balloons behind him.
Severus pinched the bridge of his nose. "Really Harry?"
"Yep." Harry grabbed balloon after balloon and pelted Severus with them. Severus pretended to be retreating to the door, but then grabbed two buckets and dumped them on Harry's head.
Down below, water was dripping through a crack in the ceiling, on top of Tom the bartender. He looked up and could hear the two occupants yelling at each other, and a young voice laughing. He rolled his eyes.
"I knew I should have given them separate rooms. With alarm clocks. And no water access." He muttered to himself, then went back to work.
Back upstairs, Severus waved his wand and the balloons vanished.
"Hey!" Harry said indignantly.
"It is time to go." Was all Severus said before he left the room.
"Great." Harry said. He got dressed, tossed all his now soaking things into his trunk, and dragged it after Severus, who turned to look at him.
"Would you like help?" Severus asked.
"No." panted Harry. "I'm fine. Keep going."
"You would like to drag that all the way to Kings Cross?"
"Fine. Help then." Harry said. Severus grabbed the trunk, grabbed Harry's arm, and disapparated.
"Hey! Harry said, after they appeared in Kings Cross. "I thought we were walking!"
"No, the Leaky Cauldron is miles away." Severus said. "Why would you think we're walking?"
"Because you asked if I needed help. If we were apparating, why would I need help?" Harry asked.
"Because. You have little weakling arms." Severus said.
Harry was about to retort, but was interrupted by a distraction in the form of a small, blonde someone.
"Harry!" Ellie exclaimed. "Professor Snape. How are you?"
While the kids talked, Emma and Killian walked up, Emma watching the children with a fond expression on her face.
"Ms. Jones." Severus said.
Emma gave him the stinkeye. "Snape." She said, with a toneless voice. Ellie, Harry, and even Killian started roaring with laughter.
"Emma, you could be more polite. Or at least have a tone, Love." Killian said. Emma gave him the stinkeye.
"Killian, you could remember that I'm the one with magic." Emma said. Killian gulped, and Harry and Ellie started laughing even harder.
"Harry, get up." Severus snapped. "You don't know where that floor has been."
"I'm pretty sure it was in a cement truck, and then here." Harry said, smirking.
"You disrespectful smart-alack, stand up." Severus growled. Harry gulped, and stood up. Ellie laughed even harder.
"Ellie, listen to The Snape and get up." Killian said. "He's right, you don't know where it's been."
"We've told you, it's been right here for at least thirty years- now that I say it, I hear the problem." Ellie said, also standing up.
"Harry, run at the wall." Severus suddenly said.
"What?" Harry asked, looking like he thought Severus had lost his mind.
"Run at the wall. Now!" Severus repeated.
Harry ran at the barrier that Severus had gestured to when he said 'wall,' and braced himself for the crash. It never came. When Harry opened his eyes, he was looking at Platform 9 3/4.
