“Don’t make me angry Mr Cox, I don’t want to have to come over there because if I do I’m going to break some of your bones with my bear hands. I enjoy hitting people you see don’t I lads.’
Oh yes he does and it’s not nice I can tell you; I remember this bloke that he punched. He was sucking soup through a straw for three months after Barry broke his jaw so badly that he had to have wires inserted to hold it all together. Then there was the depressed cheek bone factures and the broken nose as well.
Dave Cox sat down on the chair in his office he was trembling as he told Barry how Ray had offered to help him after his divorce. He went on to tell Barry that he ended up giving him this place. He also said that he had to get potential customers for the hotels that he was trying to flog.’
“He’s a dangerous man Barry; believe me he had me beaten up because I refused to sign the bar over to him. He said that I could still run it but it was his.’
“Well he just met his match today I can tell you that.’
Now listen to me; you said you can get anything right; were you bull shitting me or is this true?’
“I can get whatever you need.’
“Right; I want sawn off shot guns, hand guns that fire twelve shots, and enough shells for a gun battle. How long will it take to get them?’
“I will have them in forty eight hours.’
Good; say nothing to no one understand even Juan Garcia Behar.’
“Ray you stupid prick.’
They left and then got back into the Merc and drove to a car dealer and bought a cheap four door car to ferry them around in. Brian drove the Merc back and parked it away from the hotel then walked back to the hotel; It was late when they got back having spent four hours driving and then going to sort out a car. They took the lift to their rooms Barry noticed the door to his room was slightly open and alerted the others. Barry burst in to find his room had been turned over. They checked the other rooms to find the same had happened to them as well. Running down to the reception
they asked who had asked to see their rooms.’
A man rang the hotel he was very nice; he said his name was Colin and he said he’d call again later with his friends.’
“Thank you could you give us our passports as we will be checking out.’
They all ran back to their rooms and packed their clothing then came down stairs and collected the passports. “Will you be back sir?’
I’m afraid not there’s been a death in the family and we have to get back to England immediately.’
“I’m sorry for your loss said the receptionist.’ The four cases were put into the boot and the brief cases placed on the back window Barry put his foot down as they drove to Costa Adeje where they would pick up a ferry to take them to Gran Canaria
They found another hotel and Barry picked up the phone once they had checked in and told Dave Cox where to deliver the guns and ammunition and he wanted it later that night.
Dave was about to protest but the phone went dead.
“Right I want you two to sit down stairs in case anyone comes looking for us; we will be down later when I hear from Coxy.’ See anything suspicious or Darren; get on the phone and warn us.’
Mickey and Rob left their gear in the one room that they were now using.’
