give her half. I have put the pub in my both my sons names so if anything should happen to me my kids get the pub not her.’

“You’re cleverer than you look Dave.’

“I took advice from my mate who is a Spaniard who will be in here tonight.’

“We will pop in later then.’

“Yes, well we serve some top English nosh here. But whatever you want we can get you and I mean anything?’ “We are the only English bar where you can get proper English pork sausages, proper bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, eggs, tomato’s and Heinz beans.

He spoke quieter as he told them he could get them Cocaine, Marijuana, uppers, downers you name it come see me. As for the women; stick around later on tonight and we will get you fixed up.’ The lads thanked Dave then left and walked around the resort so that they could get their bearings.’ They walked around Los Cristianos into Las Americas picking up items of clothing very cheaply. They had already spent over a grand each on gold chains and expensive watches in the duty free shops. Barry bought himself two gold rings one for each hand from another Jeweller shop in the airport. They walked around for about two hours before heading back to the hotel.

The heat was sapping and they all drank water whilst sitting out on the balcony.’

Now just because we are over here doesn’t mean we can relax.’

Everyone will go for a run around the island every morning with me. One rule which will never be broken by any of us is that we never let a bird sleep over. You hump them then dump them and put them in a cab after and get rid is that understood.’

“The men nodded

“I don’t care how good looking they are; no one gets romantically involved with anyone. You’ll spot the gold diggers and freeloaders. Don’t buy them drinks and do not let me catch any of you so pissed that you don’t know where the fuck you are.’

“I want us to be prepared for anything when it comes at us and believe me it will come.’

“Darren Ingles isn’t a forgiving person so every friend can be a potential enemy; trust no one.’

“We have to stick together on this because together we have strength.’

“Rob Put the kettle on and make us some tea.’

“Why has it got to be me?’

“Because I asked you; look if you want to go it alone here feel free; but whilst I am here you will take orders from me.’

“I won’t treat you any differently than I would if we were working for Darren Ingles.’

This is what has kept me alive all these years and yes I am a few years older than some of you; but I am wiser. I wouldn’t ask you to do anything that I wouldn’t do myself.’

They sat out on the balcony and waited for the tea to be brought out and when it arrived Brian Napier poured it out they added their own sugar and milk.

“What did you make of Dave Cox?’

“First impressions are okay but like I said; trust no-one.’

“I will suss him out later tonight.’ Speak nothing about the security van job and anyone who mentions the security van job is either working for Ingles or some other villain; so be careful.’

“Girls, you tell them nothing understood; we are from Newcastle on business; if they ask why you are here tell them property development.’

“Don’t get drawn into the why’s and where for’s,’

“After tea, have yourself a couple of hours kip because it will be a long night.’
