"This dress looks amazing, Jasper. Thank you so much!" I said as I turned in the dress again and again. It was just the dress now. Jasper was still trying to finish the cloak I asked for.
The dress was dark green velvet. There were golden swirls all over the arms and on the main part of the dress. There was two folds that hid most of the sides and all of the back. The folds touched at my stomach and spread out going up to the arms. The arms of the dress were long. The golden swirls start at my elbow and went down on my arms. Upward from that would be dark forest green velvet. The velvet felt weird at first and then I slowly got used to it. After Jasper was done making the bridesmaids dress fit her perfectly, he turned to get something out of a hiding spot. When he turned back he held a wonderful necklace.
"If I am going to walk you down the aisle, you are going to wear something that has been passed down from my family. That and you seem very set on calling me your dad so to family this will go." He said and smiled. This necklace was gold. It looked very old, but shined to be clean. There was two large, dark green, gems in it. On was sideways and the other straight up and down. It had two chains on it. One loped from the top part on one side to the top part on the other side. The seconded chain was smaller. It loped from one side on the bottom part to the other side of the bottom part. There was also one with bead that looked like a raindrop that hung down from the bottom. Jasper hung that on my neck and turned me toward a mirror. I looked wonderful in this dress.
I was so caught up on what I was wearing that I forgot about what Sindy was wearing. I looked over at her to see her looking at me. I could tell that she wanted Jasper to make her wedding dress after this. She saw what he could do and he was better then any dress that she could find at a store. I smiled at her and looked her over. She was wearing a light purple dress. The top of her dress was light purple with a design of flowers on it. Her white hair was down and curled a little bit, and in it she had a crown of leaves and white and purple flowers. The whole thing came together on her. Jasper came over to me and put on a few last touches. His last touches were just picked white flowers that he had found outside. He put them in my hair and in parts of the dress. When he was done with that he put on the cloak I asked him to make. He made sure that nothing was out of place. The dress and cloak pooled around my feet making a large circle around me. I smiled and turned to the mirror again. This was just to wonderful. I had felt nervous the day before, but with this I knew that I had nothing to be nervous about. I hugged Jasper once more and was forced to leave as Sindy forced me to wait in her room. Ambrose came in right after me and Jasper got him dressed up as well.
"Okay. Okay. Okay. I think you can stop now." I said with a smile on my face. Sindy was making it to where she was positive that nothing was wrong. She even made me wear makeup. I told her I didn't need any but she forced me to.
"I'm done anyway. It's time!" She said happily. I got up and moved to the door. Sindy stopped me again and told me I had to wait for everyone to get in there places that Jasper would come and walk me down the aisle. I sat back down on the bed again and waited for Jasper.
A few hours later he came in to get me. He smiled at me and reached for my head. I smiled back and hugged him. It really was like I was making my dad, my real dad, give me away to the man I love a little less then him. He hugged me back. He walked me out to the hall way and made me wait with him until we heard the music start.
"You are going to love the look of what they did." Jasper whispered in my ear. I smilied bigger. Then my smile faded as I got a look of what they did outside. They had made lights out of light yellow leaves that they had found, and hung them above every table. The flowers on the table were all red. I knew what those flowers were. Those flowers were the Hibiscus, the Alpinia candy, the Alpinia Malaccensis, the Passion flower, and the Helliconia flower. They looked lovely together. I saw that they had hunted down ropes of green moss and hung them all around the alter. The tables that everyone stood at right now uplifted wood stumps covered with a type of moss that made it look like the table was covered with a dark green covering.
I looked up and saw Ambrose looking at me. I could tell that he love the dress. The way his eyes roamed over the dress made me shiver. Ambrose smiled at me and I smiled back. I looked at the person who was going to be doing the ceremony he was smiling at me as well. When Jasper and I made it to the alter Jasper handed me over to Ambrose and the ceremony started. I was smiling the whole time. This wasn't a normal wedding. Only one bridesmaid and one person standing behind the groom. We were both smiling at everything that was going on. It was finally happening. I had hoped it would have been my real dad, and I would have some family at this with me but no one. I was okay with that if all that happened was anything to be said.
"I do." I said shaking. I was scared I had never planed on saying those words in my life. Ambrose was still happy that I said them.
"I do." He said back. He seemed to be more held up together. He wasn't shaking in his skin, then again he asked me. He had thought that he was ready for that to happen and I had said yes which said that I was ready for it too. Ambrose leaded closer to me when the person doing the ceremony said, "You may now kiss the bride." Ambrose kissed me. He made the shaking in me stop at once. I kissed him back. When everyone started to clap we pulled apart and started to head back down the moss covered way. Everyone got up and followed us. Ambrose was the one taking me to where we were going next. I didn't like this part, I can't dance. And I was expected too.
"You look lovely in that dress. I wonder what your wearing under it." Ambrose said it like it was the most common thing to say. I shook my head at him for saying that.
"Thank you for liking the dress. The Medieval was my idea to go with. Jasper suggested it. This is also the reason he was making you wear green, because this dress is green. I didn't know about the golden swirls part of it until I put it on. I like yours as well." I said back. Ambrose stood before me in a black shirt and pants with a green tie. The normal groom wearings. I kissed his mouth again and sat down at a table. Everyone started to talk like they were my family and I smiled at that. They all knew that I thought them family, but I didn't know they thought me family. I felt like I was going to cry.
"Thank you. I kind of figured that out when you shook your head instead of saying it. I found out that you don't lie to me in words. But when you just answer with your head you do tend to lie. That or you just didn't want to talk about it. Shall we go dance?" Ambrose asked. I didn't want to dance because I didn't know how to. But I also didn't want to stay sitting anymore.
"Ambrose, she doesn't know how to dance." William said as he lead Sindy up to dance with him. I started to tell William off, but he just smiled and pointed to his head. I groaned and put up my block. Ambrose smiled and led me up to the dance floor anyway. He led the whole dance. I told the person making the music to put on the Electric Slide. I made everyone get up and dance to it. At some point during the evening I had to take off the cloak because it was getting too hot for it. When the cloak came off everything stopped to look at the whole dress. Jasper smiled and led me to the dance floor. When Ambrose started to take me back Jasper stopped him.
"The father, daughter dance, Ambrose. It is my turn to dance with her." He pointed out and Ambrose backed off. Jasper led the dance as well. The people here were only the people that had come to live at the house until the dress was done and the wedding happened. So basically my whole family. We laughed and danced the night away when the sun was coming up we went inside to bed.
"Now we can start on kids, right?" Ambrose asked. He was hopeful that I was going to say yes. I shook my head.
"Wait. Until we get on the honeymoon. Than we can start on that." I said and pushed him away as he started to kiss me again. I smiled at him. He looked confused about what that was. I looked back at him. I was waiting for that question to pop up. When he smiled and tucked my head under his chin I calmed down and smiled. I fell asleep with him holding me.
