6. The New Room

I closed my eyes again and I woke up in a different bedroom. Oh thank you head. I knew that this was going to be the room that we were going to make.

I was just waking up in the bed. No one was next to me. It was slightly dark without windows. The color was ocean blue. And the ceiling looked like the sky. The bed I woke up on was a very fancy bed but in a different way than mine. The bed had mosquito net draping down to try to hid the dark blue of the covers and pillows. So this room is going to look like the ocean.

The lamps had blue lights in them making the room look like it was underwater. And there was a fish bowl that was growing seaweed in a corner of the room. The room had a few fish painted here or there on the walls. Everything about the room spoke of the sea. Even I, someone who has never seen the sea, knew that this was the sea. It felt like I was underwater.

The floor though was just hardwood made to look light like sand. I knew that I would have to give them a picture of this room and set two people up on making it. Two people on painting it. And the others would help me look for what I would need to put in it.

The picture was fading fast and I woke up. I was in a rush for paper again. And Ambrose gave me some paper and a pencil. I asked him to get me some color pencils as well. He seemed to notice that I wasn't as shaking with this one as I was with the others. I planned the room out from floor to ceiling.

"What do you think?" I asked Ambrose. He smiled and kissed my head. I took that as a yes, it is perfect. I stood up and found everyone.

"Okay, so here is what the room will look like," I showed them the picture," I will need Taurus and William to build it. Jesper and Eric will paint it. And Ambrose and I will go get the things we need for it. Sound good?" I asked.

"Yup, but who will have Sindy with them?" William asked. I thought about it for a moment.

"Ambrose and I will have her with us. She needs to pick out the bed. We have everything we need to make the room in the garage so I will not need to go get that. So come on we can finish this by today." I said smiling and went to go get everything ready. Ambrose and I had gathered everything that we might need. And we got Sindy dressed and ready to go. I still hated shopping but this was for a room.

"Okay Sindy, I need you to try out the beds. Ambrose and I will have to go and get everything with you. So we are here to help you." I told her where to find the beds.

"Why do you want me to make sure the bed is comfortable?" She asked as we made our way there.

"Because you're the first person that is going to sleep in it. I think that you should make sure that it is up to your standards." I said smiling. Ambrose didn't comment on the fact that I was in a store and smiling. He knew that this was all because of a dream that told me what the room was to look like.

We spent about an hour looking around the bed part of the store and trying out the beds. I knew that we would have to go to a few different stores to get all that we would need.  This first stop was for the bed. I made sure that we had brought the truck with us.

We finally found the perfect bed for her, and got it up to the house in no time. This was going to be some day.

The second store we went to was Ace Hardware. We needed paint and the wooden floor. It took a while but I finally found the perfect color for the floor. It also took some time to find the right colors for the fish and the walls.

The third store was where we got bedding and the frame for the bed. It was hard to find the frame that I was looking for. I had Ambrose go looking for the bed sheets and lots of pillows. I also had him take Sindy. It was her bedroom after all. They came and found me just as I finally finished picking the frame and decided we would have to make it look just like the one in my dream.

My last step was to take a trip to the pet store. They always had fish bowls and things like that. I needed a big tank for a corner in the room. I also bough so large pieces of real seaweed. And some fish to go with it. When we returned home. The room was down being built and the paint was being put on. We had to put a fan in to dry it faster, and remove the smell of paint.

The next day was when we got to put everything in it. I made sure that the room looked exactly like the one in my dream. And when it finally had the look of the room in my dreams I showed it to Sindy.

"You made this room in two days, and for me?" She asked starstruck about how wonderfully the room came together. I know that she would love the bedroom.

"Yes. Does it surprise about the time limit?" I asked. I was afraid that she would find out what we were with such little time and the room being perfect.

"No not at all not with how hard you all have been working on it. Just why would you make me a room?" She asked. I didn't answer so I took control of her mind and said it doesn't matter why we made it but you have a room. She didn't question further. She moved her things down to this room and she definitely loves the ocean. From what I got from being in her head she grew up near the ocean and missed it being landlocked. Maybe that was why I had the dream of the room.

"That is amazing." Ambrose said to me.

"What is? I don't understand it." I asked him. He seemed confused that I didn't know what he was talking about.

"The mind control thing. Most of us only have one ability, but you seem to be able to have more than one. First you saw through walls. Then the fighting. Then the faster the normal speed. And now this. Is there anything else you know how to do?" He asked me teasing. I shook my head. And I knew that he was still curious about it but he left it alone.

"I am tired from all the work that was done. I want to sleep." I said and headed off to bed. I was lucky though I didn't have a dream for the next few nights.
