"Guys come quick! I think she is waking up!" William yelled from her room. He had sat down there the whole time she was out. He only left to get blood and use the bathroom. Other then that he slept at her side in the chair. And we all rushed downstairs to find her on her feet and looking around.
"Get her some blood." I told Taurus, who was right next to me. He gave a short nod and went to get some. He handed it to her. She just held it and didn't know what to do.
"Here. Give it to me I will help." I said and she handed me the bag. I told her to open her mouth and when she did I stuck my finger in and pushed her fangs out. They slid out and I popped the bag to her teeth she backed up a little. Like everyone she would have to be taught to bring out her fangs. I did that for her for a little longer.
"William teach her. And tell her my rules please. I do not want her to do what you guys know I hate. I want her to know everything about this and what has happened." I told William and walked out of the room. When I got back upstairs I found Ambrose waiting for the news.
"She is up and William will train her in the basics. Then we will train her how to fight." I said and Ambrose smiled at my new tone. I was starting to explore the idea of being queen. I still didn't like it, but it is good to know.
"Maybe we should teach you how to act like a queen if you are going to run around and give people orders." Ambrose said. My eyes got wide and I shook my head. I was seeing if it fit me. I still didn't like the idea of them doing that. I saw how they saw me, and that they wanted me to just accept what I was to them. I can't though. It just doesn't seem right, at least not now. Ambrose smiled at the reaction that he got out of me by saying that.
Ambrose gave me a bag of blood and grabbed a bag for himself. I popped the bag to my teeth. And smiled at Ambrose. But we were going to have to make another trip. I wanted a friend that wasn't a mate to anyone here.
"I think we need to make a trip again. I want a friend that isn't a mate to anyone here. And I want there to be a child's room as well." I told Ambrose as I took the now empty bag from me teeth. He nodded his head at the idea of another trip. But as soon as the children idea was brought up his eyes got wide. He ripped his now empty bag from his teeth and hugged me.
"So that means you want a child?" He asked smiling. I nodded my head and he smiled even bigger. I knew what that though meant for everyone here. They were going to think I was nuts to want one but, I need someone else to be a Hunter with me. And I want a child. I have been thinking a lot about this. And I have finally come to an answer. I thought that I would bring it up to Ambrose and see if he liked the idea of it.
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! I have waited for you to say that! I have always wanted a child! Oh when would you like one? We could start now if you like!" He said smiling. He was just rambling on and on. I put my hand out to his chest to quickly quiet him.
"When we don't have a newborn vampire in the house. That is when I would like one." I told him. His smile faded just slightly. But you could tell he was happy at the thought of having a baby. I don't know why he wanted one. I think that it is the same reason I want you, but I don't know.
"We must go tell the others when you're ready!" He said and kissed me. I smiled at the fact that he seemed to happy to even have it be contained in him.
"Okay, but when I am ready to tell them." I said back and left the room. I knew Ambrose was happy about the thought of a child. But I was scared slightly. I knew what I wanted, but I also knew that we have to set up rules for this world otherwise we will run out of blood.
I met everyone in the kitchen and had them come out to the living room. I had everyone sit so I could explain a few things.
"The first thing I want to do is set up some rules. We can't out grow our food supply. And everything needs laws. Please think about it. I am going to sleep. Tell me the laws that you have come up with at the next meeting." I said and went back to my room. Everyone was looking at me leave. I think that they were hoping I would say something else. I know that they thought that the need for laws was not as needed as I thought it was. But we need them. I can't have the whole race running about un-ruled and screwing up everything.
