5. Making A New Friend

"Hello, Sindy. I bet you're wondering why you are still here." I told her as she walked into the kitchen. I had cooked breakfast for her. I wasn’t much of a cooking person when I was human so I had to use the computer to make it.

"Yes I am curious about that. I do have to get to my job soon." She said and started to make her plate. I watched her do that. I wouldn’t make a plate just not to eat it. So I played one of my cards, and said that I had already eaten something.

"Aren't you going to eat something?" Sindy asked me looking at my empty hands as I sat with her at the table. I shook my head.

"I have already eaten something before you woke up. I am not hungry." I told her. I knew that was what she was hoping for me to say to way I didn't have food. She nodded and went to eating her plate that she made.

"Well I though that you could do your work here for awhile, while I got to know you more. I really liked talking to you so I wanted to get to know you." I said explaining myself and my actions. I always do explain my intentions. I love to have people understand what I am thinking.

"So those people at the club were your friends?" She asked. I knew that this question would be coming up sooner or later.

"Yes they are somewhat my friends. But to me I like to think of them as family. How was your night?" I asked to be polite. I didn't need to hear about what they did, if they did something. But I had an idea when a smile popped up on her face and she started to blush.

"You didn't hear?" She asked turning towards me.

"No. I had every wall in this house soundproof for that reason. There is no reason you should feel embarrassed talking about that either, by the way. It is the most natural thing a human can do." I said. But I knew that even if I hadn’t said it she still wouldn’t talk to about it and I don’t want to hear what she did last night.

"Okay then. So I guess I will be spending sometime with my boss. That seems neat. Do you have your employees do this often?" She asked changing the subject. She didn't want to talk about it and I smiled at that. I liked that she could changed a subject as easily as I could.

"No. I don't do that often. I was just getting lonely here with my family. If you look around, you will notice that I am the only female here. I needed a female friend." I told her. I really did need her in my ranks. I was also going to have to go to her home and get anything that she would need. I will not have her leave this house alone.

"Okay. But after this do you think I could stop by my house and get some things that I will need for the stay? And how long will I be here?" She asked. I didn't have any answers to her. So I took control of her mind and say yes we can go, but I will bring a few friends and she should just pack all her clothing up, with anything else she will need. She finished eating in quite. I didn't eat so I didn't bother trying to look like I did. She didn't question anything. I left her in the meal for a little with the excuse I had to go to the bathroom. I found Ambrose sitting in our room. When I came in he grabbed me in a hug.

"I hope you think of me more than family." He said and I smiled. I knew that they all had heard my conversation with my new friend. Because the only time a door is closed in this house is when someone is doing something that they don’t want others to hear or they aren’t in their room.

"Would you be willing to come with us to her house to get what she needs? I just need two people there." I said in a whisper. I was going to ask one other person and I wanted that to be a surprise for them. He nodded and gave me a small kiss on my head. I left the room quietly and headed straight for William’s room.

"Hello William. Will you please join Ambrose and me to go to Sindy’s home and get what she needs?" I asked as I just walked into the room. They didn't care. They knew that I would be me.

"Sure. And thank you for calling us family. We all love you like a family. Ambrose a lot more than family. But the rest of us family. I haven't had a family in a while, a very long while. So thank you for making me feel like one." He smiled and took me in a hug. I hugged him back and left the room.

I went back downstairs to clean up and told her to get ready to go after I am done with this. I finished and she was ready as were the people I asked to come along. I left a note and signed it, "your queen Gabby." That was what got her, she questioned me about it and I didn't answer instead I just went in her head and wiped it away. She gave us the directions to her home and when we got there she hopped out and rushed to her door to start getting everything ready. I was thankful she didn't have a dog.

"Could you guys help me? I just need someone to go get my laptop, and some bags from the garage while I get everything out. And Gabby would you help me fold it all?" She asked and everyone got to work. William tracked down her laptop, and Ambrose got the bags that she asked for. I helped fold everything. We were done an about an hour. We finished up and left. When we got back to my home everyone was up and looking hungry. I told Ambrose to wait in here with her while I talked to everyone. I had to tell them that there is blood in there mini fridge up in there rooms. They all ran to get it and came back down just as we all came back in.

"So where did you guys go?" Eric asked.

"We went to her place and do we have a spare room for her to stay in? I don't want her to sleep on the couch. If we don't one of you would sleep on the couch right? And we can just build a new room for her. Maybe we could start on some rooms downstairs." They nodded to my question about sleeping on the couch I felt bad for the person that would have to sleep on the couch, because we don't have a spare room. But it had to be done. I went to sleep.
