I woke up the next day to, my love. The one who asked for my hand yesterday, and smiled and kissed his head before I went to tell Sindy. She hadn't heard. And we had talked very little since her turning. I found Sindy downstairs looking out the window.
"Did you hear the news?" I asked her. She turned around to me.
"No. What news?" She asked. I held up my hand with the ring on it. She smiled a big smiled and ran to hug me. She was jumping up and down with happiness for me. I would do the same for her when William would ask her.
"Oh my god! Congratulations! Ambrose asked you and I missed it? Oh no! What are we going to do about your wedding? Do you have a date set up? We have so much to do! And in such little time! Oh you're coming with me! We are going to do everything you need to do! And get everything you need! You have to be perfect! Oh, who am I kidding, you are going to be perfect! You made that room downstairs for me! You are going to make this the best wedding ever!" She yelled. I shook my head and laughed with her. She was about as happy as if I told her Christmas was today.
"I have to talk to Ambrose about all the details. But for the dress you will have to take me. I know that rule. The groom can't see the dress until the wedding." I said laughing at the way we were sounding like. We sounded like little girls on Christmas gossiping about who knows what.
"Ambrose! We have to talk details!" Sindy yelled laughing and happily jumping in excitement. Ambrose came downstairs very fast. He was looking lost and confused about what he just heard.
"What about details?" He asked confused. I lifted my hand again to remind him that he got me a ring. I saw the smile that lifted his lips.
"What details?! What details?! Oh you are going to drive me mad! You asked and she said yes! You forgot about the details! Ambrose I will kill you if she doesn't!" She said smiling still. She must love weddings. And with her scream to get Ambrose downstairs everyone on the house came too. William laughed and put an arm around her waist.
"Isn't she lovely?" He asked. She was smiling so I knew that she was joking about killing him. Ambrose looked scared like she might actually kill him.
"Ambrose, she was joking. She would never kill you. And she was asking about the details to when we are to be wed." I said and smiled at the way his lips turned into a smile about the way I said the sentence.
"Okay, but if I talk details I don't want them to spill out to you. You don't get to see them until the wedding just like I can't see the dress." Ambrose said to me. He hugged me to him with an arm around my waist. I was looking around and saw many smiles. They were happy for us, but they wanted this joy as well.
“Oh, don’t worry, guys. I will find you someone too.” I said with a grin. They gave me a look and backed away slowly from me.
“ You can’t hide from me. I will find you if you do go. I am not leaving you guys alone in the world. I found this, so can you.” I told them laughing. I stopped my laughing the next seconded when I realized I was becoming a book character that I had read about.
“ Oh no, I am becoming Marguerite Argeneau!” I whispered to myself.
“Who is that?” Ambrose asked.
“A book character that finds life mates for her children and her children's friends. I am becoming her. I am going to find you all lifemates. And if those people have siblings I will look for them as well.” I said. I know that I should feel silly about it, but I can’t. Ambrose pushed me towards the steps back to our room.
"Fine I will go away! But don't spill anything too big without me!" I walked up to my room laughing to myself. I was aware that one person was following me. So when I reached my room I wasn't ready for the fact that I had never seen this person that followed me.
"What-" a hand was slapped over my mouth before I could finish. I felt a small pain in my neck, and then I felt dizzy.
"Stay still and be quiet or you will be killed." This person hissed whispered in my ear. I was dragged backwards and then fell asleep.
